I know I'm late. Good job. I didn't know that when you made this it was a chemical plant that send a shock wave to the island causing mutations to occur. When I saw James we know he's always vain, however, this is an implication that he puts other people needs first before his own. Man he went up the hill with no problem seeing he's not good at climbing hills. So what did happen to him?
God,even though you don't hear or see it, you can just imagine the passengers and staff who didn't get into his coaches running after him, screaming at him to come back and that he can't just leave them to die..
"We were at maron when it happened, since Topham signed an agreement for a new power plant on the Brendam branch between the docks and suddery, on Edward's branchline, we knew it would affect the Island so we were kind of worried about it. James had his doubts too, he was very skeptical about the new plant but he went along with it, we were at the platform waiting for the all-clear go, then... *BOOM*. God dammit, it blew up, we alerted the guard and he blew his whistle, we released the breaks, hit the regulator and pulled the whistle and we were off. James was horrified but he knew we had to escape so he became serious, we raced down the line at full speed, we then saw Gordon struggling up the hill with the express, James shouted at Gordon to go back but I guess he couldn't hear.. The last thing we heard of him was a horrifying scream in the distance. We started to feel the heat rising and damn was it hot, even James started sweating and getting tired but he still puffed on. We shot passed Lower Tidmouth and kept going down the line, up ahead, we saw some- [Insert audio] This is my first time narrating, so, sorry if it's cringe ;-;
I'm going to rewrite my comment from the first upload cuz I want to. Ahem. Poor Gordon...Donald too. It sorta makes sense why Gordon's eyes got glazed over, since he was closing them as he strained up the hill. Even after reading it on Wattpad, I never grasped how narrowly James escaped before seeing this. Great work! I love how James went from 'oh crap' to 'we're getting out of here 𝙣𝙤𝙬, think of the passengers!'.
In Sodor Fallout, we don't exactly know what happened to Gordon. The story, told via the notebook of Edward's driver, doesn't say where he was when the blast happened. All we know is that when he was infected, his eyes were glazed over and his mouth was no where to be seen. Wellsworth Productions put Gordon on the hill for this video because it makes sense. Gordon being on the hill puts him close to power plant. Added with him closing his eyes while straining up the hill, it gives a good explanation for how he got his mutations in the aftermath.
Gordon then POOF one EYE AND MOUTH are back after that henry saw gordon and put a eye pach for the still glaze eye as he saw percy and james percy with a pachup mouth and james with a white eyebrow and i eyepach thomas got one eye back This is just a theory okay

Well I gotta admit, James was my beloved and favorite engine since I ever saw him, He is canonically not dead, He is still alive in the new season of Thomas and friends.

This is actually well made considering the other videos made of the same topic. The use of the old runaway theme and the actual use of other characters for a change and everything was really well done. Especially the close up shot of the tracks.
Wait, james came from tidmouth station and gorden was heading towards tidmouth, they'd be safer st tidmouth, and Brendam is towards the south on edwards brancheline, so edward and Henry are the only two engine we know in sodor fallout that needed to escape, henry, still don't know where he was blessed with special coal, and thomas was in the sheds at knatford which is one of the furthest places away from the brendamn blast and the heat would have gotten that hot to mutate his face, so basically there could've been an entire squad of engines, surviving, and being a squad they would be able to help percy when he derailed or since deisel 10 is a survived, have a chance at killing the beast, anyway, this is just a theory, this video was really well put, keep up the amazing work
@@Hagem76 Oliver's face plate fell off, exposing whatever the hell is now in his chassis. I like to think Oliver himself is dead now, and his body is being used by that monstrosity. As for Gordon, the reason his face seems so bland is because skin has grown over his eyes and mouth. He can't see or speak. That's why when we see him it says he's trying to scream and going top speed, because he's terrified and probably in a mountain of pain from the mutations.
When he first starts running it's obvious he's afraid, then when his face changes to what they used as his angry face I can only assume it became fierce determination. If that was to get the passengers he had aboard as far away as he could then I don't think anyone will disagree with "he didn't deserve the fate he got." I mean, c'mon, the guy survives the initial blast and later tries to take everyone he can back to the mainland, but because of the points not being set right, he instead gets sent into an irradiated zone, where his crew and passengers would die and he'd be mutated... or worse. It could be interesting if someone made a video on what they think actually happened to James and the survivors. Did they survive Suddery? Did they manage to loop back and get to the mainland? Did they run into Oliver and get killed? These are all good mysteries that haven't been answered.
If James reversed years could have made it to at least Rolf’s Castle that is in the opposite direction. In fact by going to Knapford he put himself in more danger. James could have theoretically escaped sodor and the blast itself, but he went forward instead. Oof.
I think in the coaches would be harder to push than pull because we saw him go up Gordon’s Hill so going down would speed him up Sorry if I annoyed you in any way
For me when I saw this in my mind I was like, "Man due to James's adrenaline to not only think about his passengers and driver, he also doesn't have any protection for himself," which motivated him to go even faster even up the gradient. I would do the same if a blast wave comes to take me out when my life depends on it. What do y'all think?
@@zscyzor does anyone know when will they show Gordon's view of escaping? I know he was killed off, but at least show us that he attempt to escape due to him going to 100 mph ( he'll escape the blast).
People have a tendency to close their eyes when they're straining, he may have been going up the hill without a banker (back engine). It also helps explain how skin grew over his eyes.
