We had a party of seven, and even with table service meals for both lunch and dinner, every day, we were able to do everything in each park. I believe leveraging Genie+, rope-dropping the parks, and staying on top of the Tip Board was crucial to our success. We totally won Disney! I declare myself officially on the varsity Disney team. ;) Oh, and here's a pro tip: A bottle of water in the park is $3.50 and through the day you'll drink more than one. Instead of buying another, go to any water fountain in the park. If you let it run for a little bit, they stream ice cold water, and refill it!

My biggest tip is to really consider how long of a park day you think you and your family or group are up for. If you don’t think you’re up for a marathon day at the park, consider going in the morning then taking a break in the afternoon for a rest or swim and then going back for the evening. That way you don’t miss out on fireworks. A trip can easily be ruined if you overdo it and ppl are exhausted!!!

Order your quick service meal IN ADVANCE! If you wait until you’re hungry, you’ll be waiting. We usually order our dinner on our way to the park in the late afternoon after we’ve had a swim and a break from the heat.
I recommend using cash for the gold coins if you don’t want to get all of the gold coins from each machine. I tried 4 different machines with my credit card and only wanted 1 coin from each location but since I used my card it required that I purchase 4 for $15. Maybe they’ve fixed that glitch but just in case!

I went to Disney World with my family 2 years ago. We went to three parks except Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs. I thought we can do all four parks in one day. With memory maker. When you go on a ride. Do you have to be at the place where they show the pictures and see your picture to get it? Does your magic band find your pic. and put it on your app to download. I have been to parks where your pic. is only up for a couple of minutes than it is gone. Thank you for your videos. And hoping that we can really go, it is quite expensive hahaha so we’re saving every last penny hahaha, but if we don’t go, Disneyland will be our backup plan. I already booked a hotel, we will staying off the premises because we don’t want to spend so much money on Disney hotel, also I’m looking around for flight tickets but they are all expensive because of spring break, so I’m waiting out till after spring break hopefully the prices will go down 🤞🏽

Thank you for the info! I have booked my resort on my own and I purchased park tickets through a discount at my job, does Disney allow my booking to be transferred to a travel agent at this point? I feel that I am in over my head with this planning. I am worried about Genie+ the most and not getting the most benefit out of it. I dread the long lines as it makes me feel like I will not enjoy myself.
Unless you cancel your booking and book with an agent, they can't help or advise you. For many, this includes the park tickets. Many, like myself, will charge a Planning Fee in cases where people need/want the help but didn't directly book with the agent. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Wow I sorted through so many pennies for the machine only to find out that the machine transitioned to “a credit card machine, lol.” I didn’t know about those gold coins, though!

I was kind of sad about the pressed pennies. I was still able to get pennies and I bought them as a little gift for the students in my class, only soviener that made financial sense for all of them!

For dining, when you say 60 days in advance do you mean we HAVE to do it that day or we can't do it after? Or can we do it within those 60 days up until our trip?

I’ve looked on the website and not quite sure I understand the difference between photo pass and memory maker. If I have photo pass only, does that mean I can’t download (and print on my own) the photos that are taken? Hello! Thank you for your tips! I have a question. We are a family of 7, and I am handling all of the reservations. my 60 day mark for dining reservations is Monday, August 8. Do you have any advice on getting those hard to get reservations for such a large group? We are hoping for Topolino’s Terrace on that Monday (Columbus Day 😬) and Storybook Dining with Snow White on that Friday (the night before we leave).

We were there in 2008 and 2012 so I definitely feel like a newbie! There is so much to plan and it is so much more complicated IMO. I have a question. I see that a lot of the rides are closed right now. I guess it is probably a storm going through. Do they cancel parades or fireworks shows if there is rain? Do they postpone them? I seem to recall you saying that if you have a LL for a ride at a time when it is closed down, they switch it to a LL for any ride. Is that correct? Thaks for the videos!
Yes, it all depends on the type of storm as to which rides would be affected. And yes, in a pervious video I mention that if a ride closed down, you would automatically get a notification to pick something else if you used Genie+. It happened alot last week. Thanks for watching/commenting!

My Fiance' and I are going to Disney world for our honeymoon! We have 2-day passes and we can't decide which parks are best to go to and we are just super new to planning! How do you recommend about going with scheduling, dinner reservations, etc? We have been a bit stressed about it lol

Go to website and write down your fav rides from each park and choose who wants to go ride or do things in each and go from there.
Thank you for the info! I have booked my resort on my own and I purchased park tickets through a discount at my job, does Disney allow my booking to be transferred to a travel agent at this point? I feel that I am in over my head with this planning. I am worried about Genie+ the most and not getting the most benefit out of it. I dread the long lines as it makes me feel like I will not enjoy myself.
Unless you cancel your booking and book with an agent, they can't help or advise you. For many, this includes the park tickets. Many, like myself, will charge a Planning Fee in cases where people need/want the help but didn't directly book with the agent. Thanks for watching/commenting!

I was kind of sad about the pressed pennies. I was still able to get pennies and I bought them as a little gift for the students in my class, only soviener that made financial sense for all of them!

For dining, when you say 60 days in advance do you mean we HAVE to do it that day or we can't do it after? Or can we do it within those 60 days up until our trip?

I’ve looked on the website and not quite sure I understand the difference between photo pass and memory maker. If I have photo pass only, does that mean I can’t download (and print on my own) the photos that are taken? Can one person from our group buy the memory maker and scan their band for all photos, even if that person isn’t in the photo?

Hello! Thank you for your tips! I have a question. We are a family of 7, and I am handling all of the reservations. my 60 day mark for dining reservations is Monday, August 8. Do you have any advice on getting those hard to get reservations for such a large group? We are hoping for Topolino’s Terrace on that Monday (Columbus Day 😬) and Storybook Dining with Snow White on that Friday (the night before we leave).

We were there in 2008 and 2012 so I definitely feel like a newbie! There is so much to plan and it is so much more complicated IMO. I have a question. I see that a lot of the rides are closed right now. I guess it is probably a storm going through. Do they cancel parades or fireworks shows if there is rain? Do they postpone them? I seem to recall you saying that if you have a LL for a ride at a time when it is closed down, they switch it to a LL for any ride. Is that correct? Thaks for the videos!
Yes, it all depends on the type of storm as to which rides would be affected. And yes, in a pervious video I mention that if a ride closed down, you would automatically get a notification to pick something else if you used Genie+. It happened alot last week. Thanks for watching/commenting!
