Filling a sketchbook in one day is just WAY TO MUCH WORK! But still, now that I'm done I'm glad I did it, I learned a lot and was able to try out all kind of different sketches and anatomy studies.
I hit a wall an some occasions, but finally made it through the whole book!

Filling a hole sketchbook in a day, has the the doctor turned mad? But seriously magnificent art on every page but this idea is crazy and props to you for actually doing this, I haven't tried doing this but damn it looks very painful. But it paid off for this excellent video! Also I know this is a bit random but the first 2 videos I watched on your channel was when you drew manga girls and I was wondering if you will ever do it again? I don't expect you to but was just asking. Seriously awsome art as usual and I love it!

A mammoth effort! I really enjoyed the couple of faces you inked without pencil guidelines. Some very cool anatomy practice too - the figures made from rectangular blocks were super interesting to me. Congrats on surviving this!

Omg, I've done this challenge before and my own #4hrsketchbook but those were done on small printer paper made sketchbooks that had like 15-30 pages and not to mention the art was just so bad in them. lol This is insane and you make me want to do it! :) And I love all the anatomy sketches and practices.

I've tried different canson sketchbooks and other brands and the fabriano brand ecological line works well with 2h pencil lead.

That is serious dedication to the craft, but you got a great video out of it and probably solidified your preferred style! I've been thinking, since you draw them far less often, that it might be interesting if you did an all-female character series for a week or two. Just a thought, and loving your content regardless. @@Dr.RockeART well that why I subscribed. I like watching how artist fuel their creativity. maybe there's a beginner challenge to filling sketchbook (not in a day of course) just something fun to revitalize my art passion.
Great work Doc, you absolute madman! Just. Not of constructive criticism: the red pen (isn't it a mechanical pencil?) Does not show on camera very well. At some points, like at the end (before the customisation) when you showed the anatomy studies, they are barely visible.
I loved the customisation of the sketchbook, best part! 😎 😋😉

Great Job Dr Rocke , i hope this was helpful to ya man, maybe i missed it but how long did this take you to do? was it a full 8 hours or more? I have a tough time sometimes divuldging more than 5 hours at a time to art after 5 im exausted mentallly but hopefully will get there where i can do more than 8 hours.. ive been doing bite size pieces on sketch cards to help me kinda get over it.
