born and raised in NewJersey been rooting for rutgers and attending game since my childhood we have couple bad season stiill believe we can improve and be a better team believe next season will be better 9-3 or 8-4 next season lose to ucla usc msu or Nebraska we known for stuggling agaianst big team way before we join the btn still think we can do better in the future also known for being good at every sport expect football which sadly the reason why we get mock by other schools and media
Prepared to be suprised!! Go back and watch the game tape from Madison last year. That game was closer than people want to remember. Don’t forget that Wisconsin had TWO weeks with a bye to prepare/rest and we’re at home! Rutgers is now WAY BIGGER and more experienced on BOTH OL/DL then they were last year so will match up even better with Wisconsin’s physicality, plus (at least for now) we have everyone healthy back in the RB room. Sam Brown at RB (huge missing piece last year), remember that and not just Kyle Monagai. Also want to not our WR and TE rooms are suddenly way more B1G level. The BIGGEST change… Is we have an experienced QB that won’t thrown 6 picks like we did last year… Don’t get me wrong Wisconsin is going to be VERY good, but this is a totally different Rutgers team than you have seen the past decade and it’s going to be one hell of a game. I been telling Nebraska fans the same things…. Get ready…. FB has caught up just like MBB did…
No, it is a clip from my live video so that those who do not have 2 hours on their hands can watch specific portions of my content. This also is not clickbait as I discuss in this segment why Rutgers can dominate opponents by running the ball and playing good defense.
Get ready to eat some crow… You guys lost to Colorado last year and I’m sorry we would have smacked you around if we played. This year Nebraska looks to be primed to be better but QB will be an issue… Rutgers is on a roll and better than last year. This will be the best Rutgers team you have seen in the last decade. Should be a great game, but don’t think it will be a cakewalk where anyone can say they guarantee that Rutgers will lose.
I don't see how returning production matters, when you have so little production. They had the least sacks in the big10, allowed 4 ypc, among just 5 teams to allow 4 or more ypc in the big10. Nearly a 2:1 td:int ratio, bottom 5 in the big10 again. They lose even a shred of consistency at QB with wimsatt gone, and they already only averaged 23.2 ppg. The only saving grace is their schedule, but I wouldn't be surprised if they missed a bowl game. That 7 game stretch starting in week 3 could be an absolute nightmare for a team with a qb that can't complete more than half his passes and a middling-at-best defense.
@@kushalbhattacharyya2294 Not accounting for the new clock rules and their effect on the scoring of run heavy teams (which all of the best teams Rutgers gaced were) is what's really dumb. If their defense weren't ass, they wouldn't have given up 42 to Maryland
I think being back under the wing of qb wisperer Chiarrocca is just the remedy that Athan needs to get him back on track. If they can get some decent QB play out of Kaliakmanis , they've amassed some pretty scary weapons at wide-out this year and with their great defense and powerful run game...they could be the biggest surprise in college football in 24.
They don't play Penn State this year. The schedule is more manageable, a top 20 defense comes back, Big Ten's leading rusher comes back, the receivers are better, and the QB has is an experienced 4th year player who knows the system. If those facts applied to any other Big Ten team, there would be much more hype.
@@collegefootballwithsam I got 9-3 I think Wisconsin and USC have to much talent for them. And I think they drop a third to either Nebraska, Washington, or Virginia Tech
@@georgeforbes4875Kyle Monangai is not that good. He plays like shit against good defenses, with the Ohio State game being the exception. There's a reason his own team doesn't trust him to score tds That is not a top 20 defense, that's laughable Kaliakmanis having experience being dogshit it not a good thing

Yessir ! We can get 10 with this schedule 🔴
Absolutely, Stephen. I think some people are sleeping on Rutgers this year.
Rutgers fan here. Easier sched yes but not expecting 10 wins. Hoping for just one more than last year (7 to 8)

As a Wisconsin fan their WR transfers scare me a bit but I think they won't be much of a threat on offense with the kind of defense we have.

Rutgers 10+. Dunno.
It would be the first time since the late 2000s that Rutgers has won 10+ games.

@@collegefootballwithsam And it's appreciated! Especially this time of year. We're busy. Rock on!
will they win ten games *both thinking*
Lol with this analysis please explain Maryland out physical ling them as well as out athleting them over the years recently. Lol
No way in crap is Rutgers beating Nebraska in Lincoln...
I think that’s their hardest game of the year. Nebraska is just such a wild card who knows
@chisaegbelu9171 hardest away game for RU is USC

I wouldn't sleep on Rutgers' this year......they're building something special in Piscataway...Sleep on them at your own risk!
Maryland? Are you freaking serious?! "They should be able to beat...."?!
LOL

Terrible take❗️Were you not paying attention to who they played last year??? You can’t be serious.
That quarterback is bad, he cost the Golden Gophers three games last season, he’s bad.
Bad offensive scheme cost yall

better chance 3 wins then 10🤣
Rutgers scored only 6 points last year against a PSU team who had a down year

Well good thing it’s not last year it’s this year.
I would not pick Rutgers to beat Penn State this year either, but thankfully the Scarlet Knights avoid the four best teams in the Big Ten.
