Yeh, this game makes me feel good. For not logging into this game for months. You had a "let me do my own thing" jailor, that did nothing, a gamethrowing invest, who acted and admitted to doing so (22:12 - Lowly: I was trying to let an exe win"), and a Moderator that witnessed all that and did nothing. So much salt, so many insults thrown, yep, makes me feel good that the right decision was made. Being Executioner is not begging town to spoon feed them a win, nor being nice so they just hand it to you... it's about seeding confusion and getting your target lynched. The only (evil) person that actually played somewhat decently was Chaeyoung, that saw the opportunity, took it, and expected that Skimm (confirmed townie) lived enough to confirm him, and maybe clutch the game in the end. I respect that move. That showed that he wanted to win, not just randomly get it by luck.
Spoodled I did I was WW in a ranked practice game, didn't attack N2 for people to think arso, and got hung, because somebody claimed I was GF. Right when I got hung this guy whispered me that he cheated, and the same guy was multi accounting, and there was also a moderator in the game, and banned him :D
So, at Evonne Pham game, a mod was there and took action, preventing other games to be spoiled. In this game, you had obvious comments on how a Town Investigator was game throwing, saying it not only when he was alive, but when he died as well (that he was trying to give a win to the exe), and the mod just sat on his hands.
So this one time i played classic with my 12 cousin, his first game he got sk and i got inv i told him what to do, the whole game i made the town kill eachother when it was 2v1 we lynched the last town and he killed me at night for the big plot twist, is this a dick move?
I hope the moderator in game is able to get rid of players like Lowly and Flying Dutchman. This is a perfect example of how toxic players like these can turn a fun game into a frustrating one.

I realized about 15 minutes in that Flying Dutchman and Lowly must have been in talking over skype or some sort of kahoots. In his will, Flying said his target was Lowly. Lowly would've had no reason to believe he was Flying's target without out of game contact, so they were cheating. edit: they were whispering in the beginning, but still.

That executioner was stupid. He claimed executioner literally right after his target claimed medusa. The investigator was gamethrowing either way, but that executioner lost the game for himself by outing himself as exe.
Day 2: Flying Dutchman whispers lowly, probably that they're exe? That's completely game throwing. There's no other reason for that whisper and lowly comment of wanting to let exe win was the deal breaker. Lowly was so unhelpful the entire game up until the end, and Flying had a terrible exe play the entire way through.
I don't get why the executioner was mad at the town for lynching him, but was okay with the coven leader for wasting a night controlling him. If you're not going to be mad at the coven for playing stupidly, there is no reason to be salty at the town for not letting you win.

It was also at that point he admitted that he knew what he did was wrong, and it was the town job to hang\exe him as soon as he was outted. He tried to bandwagon people trying to undermine Skimm (as kids normally do), but when he understood that people that knew about the game would also see his "game"... he knew he fucked up. Not only should you hang an exe whose goal is to kill a townie, but as jailor I will always execute someone who just claimed they won as exe. Almost no loss and lots of potential reward.
That's a good idea. Because an executioner who has won has no reason to side with town. When it comes down to it executioner will most likely turn against town when it is like 1v1 between town and something like sk/arso/ww because they'll say something like,"Oh, it's harder to win as Serial Killer/Werewolf/Arsonist."

Thats not how you play Townsided Exe. Hell, I have seen exe's that got their targets lynched and then were like "hey, im siding with town now" and are worthy of keeping around. He was just a weak ass exe. The only reason I would not have executed him is if there was a higher target at the moment.

Killing exe is always good for town. Unless there is a confirmed coven or juggernaut then that is just something gooder for town to kill, but if there are no leads it's worth using the day for killing any evil even neutral evil.

Generally, I try to CC as soon as someone makes even a slightly suspicious TI claim. I confirm myself, and even if the person I CC'd is truly another TI, it means that there's less Coven claimspace. I love psychic. Easily my 2nd favorite role.
I've had games where people claimed to be exe, then were like, "wtf" when we pushed them up. Duh, we're gonna push up the person whose goal it is to lynch a townie..... also, at least once, the claimed exe ended up being maf. Bad move, my friend. Bad move. XD

I tottaly get that if the investigator wasen't sure who asked his role, he could claim something else...buuut! Claming medusa a Coven faction role that isn't dead yet is risky, cuz coven will say this is either jester or the juggernaut, also whispers are a thing so skimm found the potion master night 2 (altrought it was a role call thing) he was at least 50/50 trustable physic so he could have easily whisper skimm saying he was TI instead of claiming inftront of everyone that he was medusa. When u have 1 Coven 1 Jugg and 1 NE in town is tottaly fine to hang the NE (if its exe) you need to get the Jugg or the CL out of the mix cuz someone will die either way, also the Ret was dumb enough to not actually whisper to skimm saying he was the real ret, if the real ret and the crusader shared info saying "i revived you" they should have told that to skimm who was almost confirmed physic..overall there were alot of bad desicions that could have costed the town the win, if juggernaut didn't killed skim and actually went for the ret or the crusader this would have been a easy win for coven or even for jugg.. Overall...everyone kinda gametrew.

I know that game is 2 years ago but, Lowly strategy is somewhat understandable, i know stuff is different at different level of play. But by claiming Medusa, hes making sure hes not gonna get hit by Evil and is using a bluff to make town unsure to kill him or at least prioritize him. Its risky for sure, but ive seen it work at any side (evil or good) and there are ways to find out secretly if its true. So its usually people who have no clue who will just do dumb stuff regardless of whats going on that would attack him straight up
This video is a bit old, but I've been on a skimm binge. I've noticed a trend that a lot of idiots think if they get killed, when they are legit town, somehow that's always bad. They don't realize that dying often helps town, by confirming their role and narrowing down suspects. They always just take it personally, as if they only win if they survive to the end. That said, if there was also mafia in this game, a medusa claim isn't the WORST idea, if you've got a good role that's easily confirmed or good after a few nights. Like, Ret, Mayor, etc.. It might keep them off you for a few nights, and you could tell jailor what you are doing if he jails you, then have them confirm you a day or two later. It's risky if a vigi gets trigger happy, but could be a play. However, with no maf and only a single NK in the game, it's a pretty dumb play. I can understand Lowly trying to help exe, but the way he did it made him look like a troll or a noob evil who was gamethrowing cause he didn't like his role.
There was a kid in my game and the witch was using him to kill people, we lynched him because we had no clue who the witch was, he then reported the whole game for throwing and now I’m banned for two weeks
Get Bamboozled said something along the lines of "Die at night and you'll see my role". Then when that one dude got revived Get Bamboozled whispered him immediately. Lowly gamethrowing distracted you from that information though.

I saw a classic game where gf claimed jester to jailor and hoped the jailor doesn't execute him (it was casual game though), but really how stupid people can be if they think that town should give you a chance just bc you unlucky(or unskilled player) in 50/50 maf/town win game.
Gosh, the salt of some of those doofuses was painful to look at. I remember I had an Executioner game. Night 1, I told the truth because I was roleblocked (I still didn't claim exe though). N2, I claimed Invest and claimed that my target was BG/GF/Arso. Then both invests died (This was classic). But then my target died overnight! Yes! The town lynched me and it was my first Jester win!
I had a game JUST like this, I was jugg jailor jailed me n2 and n4 (you don't attack) so i needed to wait to N6 to get first kill but most of coven was dead by that time, town was all over the place jailor and mayor reveled at the start but there was so much chaos going around that town didn't kill me after putting me on the stand 100% times. The exe let me win and helped me by making more chaos and for some reason exe claimed exe and said to lynch his target and town did.... But in the psychic results I came up every evil day. In the end i won :D I'm lucky to not have had someone like you in the game or i would have lost for sure!
I have had a game exactly like this. I was jailor, and the person i jailed N1 said nothing. I jailed them again and exe'd after they claimed doc, and gave no reason for being silent. After it is revealed they were actual doc the entire town said they reported me for a gamethrow when it was the doctor that threw. It was not fun :/

Just reading what Flying Dutchman was writing gave me a headache omg, does he think town is not supposed to hang him or what? He's not really an ally to town so why keep him alive? Gosh. And all the people agreeing with them that it was a jerk move, just, just why?

I think they expected town to believe them and hand them the win... Not how it works: Assuming they’re telling the truth, (up till that point, as has been said, even that wasn’t a given) you can’t just ask for the win and expect people to give it to you; that’s not how these games work. You have to either be very good at manipulating the odds, planning in advance, working with teammates or just plain lucky... Often a bit of all of them.
The gist is: Don’t expect to be handed a win out of goodwill and *do not* go insulting people when they don’t play to your expectations... We have a word for people like that. (Salty)

Yeh, this game makes me feel good. For not logging into this game for months. You had a "let me do my own thing" jailor, that did nothing, a gamethrowing invest, who acted and admitted to doing so (22:12 - Lowly: I was trying to let an exe win"), and a Moderator that witnessed all that and did nothing. So much salt, so many insults thrown, yep, makes me feel good that the right decision was made.
Being Executioner is not begging town to spoon feed them a win, nor being nice so they just hand it to you... it's about seeding confusion and getting your target lynched.
The only (evil) person that actually played somewhat decently was Chaeyoung, that saw the opportunity, took it, and expected that Skimm (confirmed townie) lived enough to confirm him, and maybe clutch the game in the end. I respect that move. That showed that he wanted to win, not just randomly get it by luck.
This game was harder to watch than being in math class. Also: :O I've never seen a Moderator in game before.

I was WW in a ranked practice game, didn't attack N2 for people to think arso, and got hung, because somebody claimed I was GF. Right when I got hung this guy whispered me that he cheated, and the same guy was multi accounting, and there was also a moderator in the game, and banned him :D
The only reason I have is because I’m friends with one :0. And the math class thing is unbearably true.
So, at Evonne Pham game, a mod was there and took action, preventing other games to be spoiled. In this game, you had obvious comments on how a Town Investigator was game throwing, saying it not only when he was alive, but when he died as well (that he was trying to give a win to the exe), and the mod just sat on his hands.

I hope the moderator in game is able to get rid of players like Lowly and Flying Dutchman. This is a perfect example of how toxic players like these can turn a fun game into a frustrating one.

I realized about 15 minutes in that Flying Dutchman and Lowly must have been in talking over skype or some sort of kahoots. In his will, Flying said his target was Lowly. Lowly would've had no reason to believe he was Flying's target without out of game contact, so they were cheating.

That executioner was stupid. He claimed executioner literally right after his target claimed medusa. The investigator was gamethrowing either way, but that executioner lost the game for himself by outing himself as exe.
Day 2: Flying Dutchman whispers lowly, probably that they're exe? That's completely game throwing. There's no other reason for that whisper and lowly comment of wanting to let exe win was the deal breaker. Lowly was so unhelpful the entire game up until the end, and Flying had a terrible exe play the entire way through.

I don't get why the executioner was mad at the town for lynching him, but was okay with the coven leader for wasting a night controlling him. If you're not going to be mad at the coven for playing stupidly, there is no reason to be salty at the town for not letting you win.

It was also at that point he admitted that he knew what he did was wrong, and it was the town job to hang\exe him as soon as he was outted. He tried to bandwagon people trying to undermine Skimm (as kids normally do), but when he understood that people that knew about the game would also see his "game"... he knew he fucked up.

Not only should you hang an exe whose goal is to kill a townie, but as jailor I will always execute someone who just claimed they won as exe. Almost no loss and lots of potential reward.
I always do the same. I can't even count the amount of times I lost a game because the "executioner" turned out to be NK/GF.
Survivor claims are good exe's as jailor as well, I've saved my butt from an SK claiming surv a few times because they're pretty much unconfirmable

That's a good idea. Because an executioner who has won has no reason to side with town. When it comes down to it executioner will most likely turn against town when it is like 1v1 between town and something like sk/arso/ww because they'll say something like,"Oh, it's harder to win as Serial Killer/Werewolf/Arsonist."
I do the same and they often turn to be GF trying to hide as EXE who won too. Only win win situation if you ask me.

I totally agree with skimm on the decision to lynch the Executioner. It’s their job to lynch their target and if they can’t it’s their own fault! Especially when its dwindling down to the last 6 or 7 players, exe claims won’t hold up and it’s basically saying “I am evil lynch me because I might be CL or Jugg or any evil role other than what I say!” Honestly the Executioner was entirely too salty to say the least.

Why in heaven’s name would you claim Medusa as Investigator? That would have jailor exe you in a heartbeat and will probably get you killed by the REAL Medusa if they are alive! I get claiming a false jester if your evil but tbh claiming jester to get yourself lynched is pretty insensible and just ruining the game by giving your exe that all power “I won already so I can do whatever” position.

Thats not how you play Townsided Exe. Hell, I have seen exe's that got their targets lynched and then were like "hey, im siding with town now" and are worthy of keeping around. He was just a weak ass exe. The only reason I would not have executed him is if there was a higher target at the moment.

Generally, I try to CC as soon as someone makes even a slightly suspicious TI claim. I confirm myself, and even if the person I CC'd is truly another TI, it means that there's less Coven claimspace. I love psychic. Easily my 2nd favorite role.
I've had games where people claimed to be exe, then were like, "wtf" when we pushed them up. Duh, we're gonna push up the person whose goal it is to lynch a townie..... also, at least once, the claimed exe ended up being maf. Bad move, my friend. Bad move. XD

Claming medusa a Coven faction role that isn't dead yet is risky, cuz coven will say this is either jester or the juggernaut, also whispers are a thing so skimm found the potion master night 2 (altrought it was a role call thing) he was at least 50/50 trustable physic so he could have easily whisper skimm saying he was TI instead of claiming inftront of everyone that he was medusa.
When u have 1 Coven 1 Jugg and 1 NE in town is tottaly fine to hang the NE (if its exe) you need to get the Jugg or the CL out of the mix cuz someone will die either way, also the Ret was dumb enough to not actually whisper to skimm saying he was the real ret, if the real ret and the crusader shared info saying "i revived you" they should have told that to skimm who was almost confirmed physic..overall there were alot of bad desicions that could have costed the town the win, if juggernaut didn't killed skim and actually went for the ret or the crusader this would have been a easy win for coven or even for jugg..

I know that game is 2 years ago but, Lowly strategy is somewhat understandable, i know stuff is different at different level of play. But by claiming Medusa, hes making sure hes not gonna get hit by Evil and is using a bluff to make town unsure to kill him or at least prioritize him. Its risky for sure, but ive seen it work at any side (evil or good) and there are ways to find out secretly if its true. So its usually people who have no clue who will just do dumb stuff regardless of whats going on that would attack him straight up

This video is a bit old, but I've been on a skimm binge. I've noticed a trend that a lot of idiots think if they get killed, when they are legit town, somehow that's always bad. They don't realize that dying often helps town, by confirming their role and narrowing down suspects. They always just take it personally, as if they only win if they survive to the end.
That said, if there was also mafia in this game, a medusa claim isn't the WORST idea, if you've got a good role that's easily confirmed or good after a few nights. Like, Ret, Mayor, etc.. It might keep them off you for a few nights, and you could tell jailor what you are doing if he jails you, then have them confirm you a day or two later. It's risky if a vigi gets trigger happy, but could be a play. However, with no maf and only a single NK in the game, it's a pretty dumb play. I can understand Lowly trying to help exe, but the way he did it made him look like a troll or a noob evil who was gamethrowing cause he didn't like his role.
There was a kid in my game and the witch was using him to kill people, we lynched him because we had no clue who the witch was, he then reported the whole game for throwing and now I’m banned for two weeks

The Executioner is not a good exe. He called out he was exe and confirmed a town (I'm writing that in my will) when he was ALIVE! Then he called skimm a thrower, when I would kill him and many others would kill him! He throw's everything in the bucket and said that skimm throw's! He is the dumbest of them all in Town Of Salem. If you can't say it's your fault, because you claimed something that got you killed, it's ether the claim who is obv, or you are a noob in Town Of Salem (can I call it TOS?)! I saw a classic game where gf claimed jester to jailor and hoped the jailor doesn't execute him (it was casual game though), but really how stupid people can be if they think that town should give you a chance just bc you unlucky(or unskilled player) in 50/50 maf/town win game.
Gosh, the salt of some of those doofuses was painful to look at. I remember I had an Executioner game. Night 1, I told the truth because I was roleblocked (I still didn't claim exe though). N2, I claimed Invest and claimed that my target was BG/GF/Arso. Then both invests died (This was classic). But then my target died overnight! Yes! The town lynched me and it was my first Jester win!
I had a game JUST like this, I was jugg jailor jailed me n2 and n4 (you don't attack) so i needed to wait to N6 to get first kill but most of coven was dead by that time, town was all over the place jailor and mayor reveled at the start but there was so much chaos going around that town didn't kill me after putting me on the stand 100% times. The exe let me win and helped me by making more chaos and for some reason exe claimed exe and said to lynch his target and town did....
But in the psychic results I came up every evil day.

I have had a game exactly like this. I was jailor, and the person i jailed N1 said nothing. I jailed them again and exe'd after they claimed doc, and gave no reason for being silent. After it is revealed they were actual doc the entire town said they reported me for a gamethrow when it was the doctor that threw. It was not fun :/
