- In this video I tried to put together the most satisfying clips of garbage trucks dumping their loads at this transfer station.
It’s very satisfying to watch how the garbage trucks dump their loads after a long day on route picking up trash at the customers place.
Also in this video is a bonus clip of the transfer station worker have to use a backhoe instead of the normal loader because it was being serviced. It’s actually really interesting to see these heavy machinery in action.

I think it’s very relaxing! Sometimes I will watch garbage truck picking up on route before bed to help me relax. The funny thing is I do this for a living so it’s kinda dumb that I watch these videos even when I’m off work. Thanks for watching!

That roll off driver at about 5:30 must've been a loader operator at one time. But that backhoe was impressive for it's size. It actually caught a bit of traction and pushed a good volume.
I was hoping someone would notice the fact that the roll off driver used his compactor to push the load into the trailer! Yes I was impressed how the backhoe handled the load on the floor.
That Wittke Starlight seems like it packs pretty good.

Would be interesting to see the trailer underneath when a truck dumps directly in. Does it bounce around like mad as the waste falls in?
That slop is potato salad from a local processing plant. It’s discarded product from production.
I have a few other videos showing the garbage hitting the trailer. Sorry I can’t think of the exact video right now. Yes the trailer does bounce all around. Thanks for watching!

How does the transfer station deal with the water/ chemicals that empties out of the trucks?
We don’t do any separating of materials here. If it ends up in a garbage truck then ultimately it will end up in the landfill. Thanks for watching!

Lol. That is product waste from a potato salad processing plant. Basically rotten potato salad!
What is under ground was semi truck or train car?😅
There is a 53’ open trailer in the hole that gets filled with 55-60k lbs of trash. Once it’s full it gets husked off to the land fill to be buried.
Do you wash out the roll off dumpster if it had potoes in it
What happens to the garbage after dumping? Will this wet rubbish be incinerated?

Yeah so much! Every day of week. It’s just scraps from production and other bits that didn’t pass quality control. Nasty stuff though.
