Those Belit grow bags piqued my curiosity . i like the idea of using tiny non-toxic grow bags for air pruning the roots of cuttings, but i'm not sure i like the idea of planting the grow bag in a larger container or the ground after the cutting forms roots and leaves if they don't degrade completely and/or if they're plastic - what are the buried grow bags leaching in the soil over the long-term growth of the tree's's life, and would i be ingesting the leachate via the fruits of the tree when it gets older? And can the leachate of the grow bag negatively affect the long-term health of the soil life around the roots of the tree?
