“Hell to the Ya bro!” @keeldragger You guys make a solid team. Admirable display of courage, teamwork, and execution. “Props” to the diver. You’re a real one for sure.
Dude, your cinematic eye on this trip has been phenomenal, and you've reached the next level on editing and production. I feel like I'm there! Just awesome!
Good video! We've made the trip twice on our Catalina 36, SPICA. We usually round Cedros around midnight to 2 am giving it a 15 mile girth on the outside because of the constant fishing activity. Way to many friends have wrapped up on fishing lines at night because they were to close to Cedros. Anyways we almost split the difference between Cedros and Guadalupe after midnight. This is the reality of sailing at night, there are UFO's out there. 4 people on our boat watched with me, west of Guadalupe lights in the sky, all moving independently from each other. Insanely fast moving and making incredibly sharp turns for 10 minutes then just disappearing. We saw exactly what the USS Nimitz saw and it wasn't until we returned home 8 months later we saw that UFO program on the History Channel.
I don’t do that anymore but I use to run my inverter into that shore power plug so that I could use my AC outlets inside the boat off of the inverter. 🤙🏼
The on this trip, this is my buddy Mark’s boat from @keeldragger; it’s a Valiant 40. My boat is a 1978 Catalina 30. Not seen in this trip except the intro.
This boat is a 40’ boat. My part of this journey is over (for now) but you should follow Mark on @keeldragger. It is his boat and he is going further but I don’t think he will be in Brazil. He is going to French Polynesia after sailing the Mexican Riviera. Cheers!
Oh my God, why did you go down there to unwrap the line without a wet suit on? It is so cold next time I want to see Mark do it be more entertainment thang of the likes you get?😂
I didn’t know the water would be that cold. It wasn’t bone chilling, just chilly. I figured if we were in Baja California the water would’ve been a little warmer. Once I was in, I figured just get the job done. It only took a couple minutes.
@ I also would like to say I’m so sorry you got sick on your sailboat. I felt so bad Andy I hope to meet up with you in April the Long Beach harder I’m just gonna look and I wanna buy. I hope too.
It's always great to see you and Mark! Please tell Misty I said hi when you get home.
Hi there Walt! I will tell Misty for sure. Cheers!

Thanks ScaryGary! Just doing my job as a deck scrubber! 😂 Cheers!!!

Wow thank you so much. I’m trying to make the videos for this trip a little better than my norm. Means a lot! Cheers! 🤙🏼
Nice work Andy! Excellent video production, and line clearing skills!
Thanks man. Much appreciated. 🤙🏼
Nice job Andy! Looks like a fantastic trip aside from the web of lobster traps.
😂 great way to put it. Spot on. Thanks! The trip was MEGA!!!!

Wow that’s crazy about the UFO’s. I don’t doubt it, there’s been a lot of strange footage showing up all over the place. Cheers!
Another great video!! Wish I was there!
Right on! Thanks for watching. 🤙🏼
Your film production has gotten so much better. 🎉 Mark will miss you on the next leg of the journey.
Thank you. I’ve been trying to step it up on the videos for this trip.
Electric winch, fancy. Epic sail, Baha Mexico is magical. So glad the weather and seas are with you. Excellent Video, thanks for taking us along.
This was the best sailing trip of my life so far. Marks boat is such a solid bluewater cruiser!I always feel super safe onboard. 🤙🏼
Love following the journey and truly enjoy the videos.
Thanks for the mention Andy
You bet. 🤙🏼 Thanks for watching.
Greet footage Andy!
Thanks Dave. Wait till you see the whale footage in the leg from Bahia Santa Maria to Cabo San Lucas. Full on National Geographic.
@sailingsole 🤙🏽
great thanks!
Thanks for watching! 🤙🏼
Just curious about the extension cord plugged into your shore power inlet visible in the last shot of the video. What’s that for?
I don’t do that anymore but I use to run my inverter into that shore power plug so that I could use my AC outlets inside the boat off of the inverter. 🤙🏼
Another question, which sailboat is yours?
The on this trip, this is my buddy Mark’s boat from @keeldragger; it’s a Valiant 40. My boat is a 1978 Catalina 30. Not seen in this trip except the intro.
@sailingsole Can you still get spare parts for the Catalina 30?
Legal que tamanho é o veleiro que vocês estão, vai velejar pôr toda a América latina, quando você vem para o Brasil

The ocean doesn’t warm up until about 200 miles north of Cabo.
It was chilly 🥶

Isn't it close to that Island where they have very large great white sharks😅?
Maybe but you might be thinking of Isla de Guadalupe. Which is actually only about 170nm away.
