Keep looking at your glasses...did you find the ones you lost or replace them with a similar pair? The calls in the middle of the night can be unnerving and can wreck the rest of the night as far as your sleep...that would drive me crazy!! I used to work a crisis unit where we had to be on call so I tried to sleep but it was never quality sleep. Thank you for not sugar coating FA life for those that want to think it is only glamorous. Take care and keep sticking to your trying to stay healthy!!

Oh my God. You're so organized! I just end up rolling stuff up and stuff it in my rollaboard. If it's an early report I just shove it all in the bag the night before and worry about finding stuff on my next layover. LOL!

You made me laugh!😊 Your Cancun, Mexico trip I hope is good for tonight of 2/5. Nice!! Beach and the ocean if you are close there on your layover!!😊😊 Anyway, at my former airline, I used to bid my next month schedules around the 15th of the month until closing of bidding by the 18th if the month. And I checked with one of my best friends who is still flying with her 33 years of seniority and she reminds me that the budding process is still the same. She, Stacey, just only bids for turn trips and with her seniority and she holds what she wants. So, she will does Chicago to the east coast turns a lot. She also will do Las Vegas turns as well. And then she will do Los Angeles or San Francisco turns. I use to always hold the two day or three trips because I liked the long flight time, the Purser pay and the more per diem pay.
Hello Will, are the hours for crew scheduling calling dictated by your union contract ? For the non flight attendant viewers how would you be notified if there
was a flight or schedule change. If the call was so upsetting then if covered file a grievance with your union. But on the other hand, the call was a good thing so it all worked out and now you can catch up on your rest with the expanded time at your current destination.
Hello! There is a time frame scheduling has to notify us about trip changes or flight cancellations but it's hard to point those out because you never know exactly when it's going to happen. The only time I see where you could file grievance is probably if your rest is interrupted and they still want you to come to work at a time where you now don't have your 10 hours of minimum rest. Most times these calls work in our favor.

Glad you enjoyed it!! There's designated crew stowage area. It varies by airline and aircraft configuration as well.
