I just wanna say I really enjoy Oli and Luke's coffee chat before going into any show review or predictions. It makes me feel like I'm getting to know them outside of being wrestling guys, the same way I've always enjoyed Going in Raw's Steve and Larson for being real guys. I love both equally because it's like I'm chumming it up with a few of my friends. Shine on, guys! Keep up the great work. :)
I mean they open the show by saying this is still the A show and then same story line as raw.. seriously? I mean they r connected somehow which is highly unlikely they screwed up
In regards to the lights on Raw during MizTV, I think that was someone in the back telling the boys in the ring to get back on track. That was during the part where the “Miz is awesome” chant was going on, among other things.
39:39 just have Brawn come out and somehow his voice is even deeper, also if a fist comes of the neck brace it would need to be a fist made of beard, because even Brawns beard gets to beat people up. 44:56 i have to say i love Roman's face now that he is FINALLY getting cheers he looks so happy, it's a long standing grip of mine that Roman was getting Booed to hell and back for doing exactly what every other Wrestler on the roster dose (AKA what they're told to do) he finally does it and reaches the top of the ladder and the fans hate him for it, i knew the fans are mad but be mad at vince he's the one calling the shots wright a nasty letter to vince (that he will ignore just like he ignores the boos)
Randy showed brand loyalty during survivor series. He played the part of Shane's protector. After Shane tried to sneak attack Braun and found out how scary he is Orton jumped in front of him to protect him.
His heel turn on hogan is one of the most infamous heel turns of all time, leading to one of the most famous feuds of all time and wrestlemania matches of all time! It's times like this (happens too often) I wonder if they even watch wrestling or have ever even looked into it. Just like they have jumped on in 2016 and ignore everything previous. They (and many youtubers) get paid and they seem to know nothing or just remember nothing........even the most memorable angles/matches etc.
Seriously, why do people dislike Jordan? He is fantastic on the ring, and is actually quite good and emotive on the mic. Sure the son storyline is a little silly, but that isnt his fault and at least he is different.
I can't see them doing a women's rumble, it's too much to have two on one show. I wouldn't be surprised if we see 1 or 2 women released in the next few weeks
i love how the women called up from nxt look like real women not barbie dolls draped in bright neon colours and hair dye and glitter. and they are attacking in a way that makes them seem equal to the men. it was genuinely impressive.
Andre the giant was a face for his whole career until Vince turned him heel to fight Hogan. He then turned face against Bobby Heenan when his knees where buggered so he could retire a good guy. There's an excellent documentary about Andre called "Larger than life" that you should defiantly watch, despite how tragic it is.
Luke and Oli, at this moment, who would you say is WWE best performer of the year, in ring ability and character work. I would say Braun Strowman (even though vince pushes him more than others) and a close second would have to be The Miz, promos and in ring work has been on fire all year long
The octopus failed, so I'll try again. Crap Gimmick: The Delivery Driver- The Delivery Driver is a wrestler who comes to the ring in a vehicle, similarly to Eddie Guerrero or Alberto Del Rio. Unlike them, The Delivery Driver comes out in a truck or a van. He wears a uniform similar to Amazon delivery drivers, maybe calling it Pamazon and having a slightly altered logo. He comes to the ring with a parcel addressed to his opponent, with a weapon inside, and leaves it at the side of the ring. His finisher happens when he distracts the referee and grabs the parcel, opens it and gets a new weapon every match. He then hits his opponent with it and pins him. This can work both ways, however, as his opponent can take the weapon and hit him with it. Hopefully, this doesn't already exist.
Andre The Giant was a face for the majority of his career, it wasn't until like five years before he retired that he turned heel. He was undefeated for 15 years straight without ever being a heel anywhere except for AJPW because for some reason Japanese people hates him.
Luke / Oli ....Since you're still working on the drive to 5 slogan, here are my ideas: The Attack for 500 Stacks!! The Ruckus to 500 thousand Ducuts!! The Shoot to 500 thousand Loot!!
I love the Paige faction especially given the Tough Enough connection. I think that on Smackdown, Liv Morgan should serve as Carmella's backup now that Ellsworth is gone. I don't like that Sarah Logan was the only woman called up from the Mae Young Classic.
Ruin Finn Balor, ruin Shinsuki Nakamura, people who can actually get over organically , and then say they can't get over, so we are cancelling their big matches, and pushing barely even part time talent. Then they wonder why they can't get new stars. It's not about creating or pushing fresher talent, it's about who Vince wants in the top spots, no matter who could get over organically , and no matter how much the fans reject his choices. Vince has a mindset reminiscent of Verne Gagne, which is why Vince was able to take his top talent away and eventually kill the AWA. I do think Samoa Joe deserves a major push, but is he just getting a push into the main events, to make the actual main event talent look even stronger when they beat him? Maybe if Vince wasn't so hit and miss with talent, they wouldn't need to rely on brock lesnar and triple h for main event spots at pay per views. They ruined Bray Wyatt when he was on fire, ready to be a cult favorite along the lines of the undertaker, didn't know what to do with him at that level , and killed his mystique. If this creative team would have been in place during the Monday night wars, it would have killed wrestling/sports entertainment for good. WCW would have killed them, then died off a few years later too. They ruined Asuka's debut on pay per view, and on raw, then had to go into rebuild mode that still hasn't quite rebuilt her where she was when they killed her push. No explanation can justify that ridiculous mess. People tried giving them the benefit of the doubt and said maybe creative didn't know Vince was releasing Emma. Still, Vince approves everything that goes out to the public and still approved Emma beating down Asuka on both shows, knowing he was releasing her. Plus , why would you give someone who can't even handle a supermodel gimmick a prime pay per view spot? They could have put Alicia fox in those matches and it would have worked so much better. She could handle beih squashed twice and not lost anything with her crazy gimmick. So many better ways they could have handled nakamura vs Jinder Mahal without costing nakamura anything, and kept Mahal as champion. Have him lose by dq, as the Singh bros interfere both times, which is their whole gimmick. Then Mahal refuses to give nakamura any more matches, which opens up nakamura for future matches for the title and future angles either where the wwe forces Mahal to defend it, or a face gives nakamura a title match because he deserves it. It would have been a tad cheap for two pay per view finishes, but the more important long game would have meant nakamura would have looked strong and stayed protected, Mahal would keep the title till they want him beat, and as cheap as those finishes would have been, it would have played exactly into the Mahal gimmick, having the Singh bros physically protect his title. Instead we get this mess. They killed nakamura's push, made his clean pins on cena and Orton meaningless, and basically killed every fresh talents push, as Vince is taking some kind of dyslexic bipolar, raging ADHD fueled approach to booking/approving of angles, gimmicks, pushes, and storylines. The issue is lazy writing, and McMahon I think is getting too old to competently book the wwe anymore. They aren't booking or writing long term, they are doing so moment to moment, week to week, and tripping over themselves, which is damaging their talent badly, then they step back, realize how horrible their decisions have been, dramatically change it, which the reset works a lot better, but at the same time, the fans are frustrated at this roller coaster booking, hesitate at supporting anyone because who is pushed today, is an enhancement talent tomorrow, and all over the mid card and main event the next month. They had Finn beat AJ styles at a pay per view clean, then havr Finn get squashed and irrelevant in every match after wards, rendering that win meaningless, and then put the wwe title on AJ two weeks later. They should never have put the title on Mahal to begin with, even tho they did so for the India tour. Mahal may be Indian by heritage, but he isn't even close to the most popular worker in the eyes of India fans. John Cena is. Then they wonder why they are cancelling dates. Push someone as their rep for the tour that isn't even that popular in that country, then merge dates after putting the title on someone else. Which made the last six months and all that mkney and time pushing him, meaningless. They had him as a jobber for so many years, they couldn't make him believable as a title holder. He was seriously the only one they could think of, to represent the wwe in India? They couldn't work in bringing in a talent from India, push him and make him believable? They put the title on Mahal because of racial profiling. That's like setting two Jewish people up on a blind date, then are amazed when they don't click. "But you are both Jewish!" Which dismisses them just not clicking as human beings. A common religion or lineage doesn't mean they will automatically click. That's like saying two Christians or two Mexicans will automatically fall in love because of that one common bond. It's an absurd point of view, and that's what the wwe used to base their choice of Mahal on, and are surprised and disappointed their entire India plan imploded. WWE is acting exactly like wcw did at the end. It's just a clusterfuck mess. You shouldn't have to constantly change a pay per view line up to make it work right. I have been a fan for almost 40 years, and want to love the wwe, but they make it so hard. I love Finn, Nakamura, Samoa Joe, etc and every time I put all my support behind them, they kill their pushes, well, except for Joe. Finn and nakamura are excellent and don't deserve their current places. Theyvate turning into the next bray Wyatt or brodus clay. The biggest promotion in the world today and they don't know what to do with talent that gets over organically? That's on Vince, because omce they get over, he is focused on others so the writers don't know what to do with them because they aren't on Vince's radar. Sad. Vince, it's not all about you. The fans paid your way to the dance. They are your income, not your own ego and what you want.
one guy was sitting in the same spot in the front row sense TakeOver bright green shirt and hat on he was there for four nights both PPV and Raw and SmackDown and 205 Live
I really don’t think we need a Women’s Royal Rumble this year. We have had so many 1st I think they can wait 1 more year for a Rumble and really build up to it
I don't think HHH was weird. He was defeated and he was scarred of Braun Strowman. But as boss and heel he have to pretend to be not scarred of any of his employees. So that was what he did. Pretending to be not scarred and then the fear won as he backed out. It is very logical. Especially for his character that sees himself still as "The Cerebral Assassin", the "The King of Kings".
But what if Shane is turning heel? That’s the vibe I’m getting, that Shane is in the wrong and Bryan is trying to do right for Smackdown while Shane is being selfish. Makes more sense to me and would be a very good story where you could even choose your own side. It could be a lot more organic and very interesting.
They did cheapen Paige’s return. She returned on Monday Night Raw after Survivor Series. She should have returned at Survivor Series replacing someone in the Women’s 5 vs elimination match. Then show up on Monday Night Raw with her new faction.
Hey guys, I've got a matter, a question for you to ramble about. In my suggestions i had the return of Y2J, the SAVE_US.Y2J campaign and shit, it's been 10 years already (man, how time flies). I watched the video and it gave me serious chills and got excited. I started remembering when it all started, by enigmas, for weeks they gave us pieces of information, and even though on wrestling forums everyone was 80% sure it was Y2J since the beginning, its still was intriguing and exciting, and even the very night he returned, he had a great intro, an explaination of the mystery on the titantron, and then massive pyros followed by a rockstar promo. Made me wonder... I can't remember last time they had such a great build up for someone, is this WWE's fault if we don't have this thrilling stuff no more or because of us, fans with an internet connexion, looking for every possible way to spoil us every surprise they try to offer us? (i'm not talking about surprise comebacks, like the hardys for exemple (plus it was not so much WWE's work there, more the hardy's communication), more like build ups)
i thought jason jordan's delivery was great - maybe a bit more with facial expressions would improve it, but still PS both you guys (oli and luke) said that roman was the one to go after the miz's title. it wasn't. roman said he didn't want to be the only member of the shield without a title. it was seth rollins who said "well, miz has a title belt and it's a really nice one too" or something to that effect
I think they messed up with Alexa bliss back stage. When Alexa bliss said nice to meet you I believe Sonya devile and Mandy rose were suppose to attack bliss and missed the que so Paige had to do it.
I'm hoping there will be some sort of alliance between Stephanie and Shane at some point to try to overthrow Vince like in the Invasion days. Obviously Vince will win again and both his kids will disappear from TV for a long time. I think Raw and Smackdown would benefit from having neutral authority figures like William Regal is on NXT. Also they could copy from NXT the idea of the GM not being everywhere. Many weeks we don't even see Regal on the show, whereas Stephanie, Shane, Bryan and Angle are featured way too much. It might be against what the USA network wants, because they seem to be very much int the McMahon family drama and they seem to think it helps the ratings, which I think it doesn't or if it does it's only at first and then it runs its course after about a year.
I feel like Sami and KO and the 3 new girls may have something to do with Bryan and perhaps Rusev and Aiden English do too. Maybe he can be a manager before he leaves WWE next Summer. He'll have done everything, wrestler, manager, commentator and GM. Hall of Fame secured.
Feel like smack down will always be the b show because the superstars on each brands are very different in popularity status, feel as though smackdown just elevates characters for raw to establish them @WrestletalkTV
Am I the only won who thinks Roman shouldn't have become champion? I genuinely think WWE is trying to brainwash was so Roman can get over. I'm not saying he's not a good wrestler. I just don't think this or the Universal title match at WM against Lesnar is good booking. Still think they're trying too hard to makes us cheer Roman but then again I might be only one thinking this :/
Hey guys, I just wanted to say that you two are absolutely amazing. You guys and Cultaholic are tied for the best channels on TH-cam for sure!
Hello and welcome to WrestleRamble I'm COCAINE WILLY & Sauce McGee
Bringing up women for the women's Royal Rumble
So here's a question then. If the women's Fatal 4-Way was no DQ, why did the match get called off when the NXT lasses started attacking?
Actually fellas, Andre was a face most of his career! It wasn’t until his later days when they made him a heel.
Correct. He was turned heel leading up to Wrestlemania 3 because Hulk needed an opponent.
Avirex002 I only knew this from a WhatCulture video
Yes Andre was a face
And then he turned face again Ollie showing his revisionist history alil there
Drive to 5 hundred thousand subscribers... we still working on the slogan - "we still working on the slogan" now is part of the slogan! Good job.
wrestletalk > WhatCulture
THANK YOU FOR THE PODCAST LUKE AND OLI
Luke's hand gestures are 100% over. For me at the very least.
Luke's reaction at 12:41 #NaughtyLuke 😂
I just wanna say I really enjoy Oli and Luke's coffee chat before going into any show review or predictions. It makes me feel like I'm getting to know them outside of being wrestling guys, the same way I've always enjoyed Going in Raw's Steve and Larson for being real guys. I love both equally because it's like I'm chumming it up with a few of my friends. Shine on, guys! Keep up the great work. :)
NXT's mission of taking over the women's division for both Raw and Smackdown Live was successful.
Not really.. they could have done differently for both brands
A.J Singh It doesn't necessarily have to be different. As you can see, they actually handled this invasion very well.
I mean they open the show by saying this is still the A show and then same story line as raw.. seriously?
I mean they r connected somehow which is highly unlikely they screwed up
DarkHpokinsn Gaming It was, sort of.
James Davis Why?, the attack on Smackdown Live was very unexpected.
Luke's hand gestures at the beginning of each vid is great. Keep those hands a goin
Feel better Luke 👍 and you Brits all ways make me laugh with the word "blood" to avoid cursing lol
"I just asked why you're wearing a beanie and got a 3 minute answer!"
Oh man I love the rambles xD
when the shield breaks up this time around, who do you think turns on the others?
In regards to the lights on Raw during MizTV, I think that was someone in the back telling the boys in the ring to get back on track. That was during the part where the “Miz is awesome” chant was going on, among other things.
Oli and Luke back at it again with the consistent rambling
I love how you two go off topic at the beginning 😂
31:01 I am giving a month, give or take for you to say that the call-ups are too green/are like Dana Brooke and maybe Nia Jax.
39:39 just have Brawn come out and somehow his voice is even deeper, also if a fist comes of the neck brace it would need to be a fist made of beard, because even Brawns beard gets to beat people up.
44:56 i have to say i love Roman's face now that he is FINALLY getting cheers he looks so happy, it's a long standing grip of mine that Roman was getting Booed to hell and back for doing exactly what every other Wrestler on the roster dose (AKA what they're told to do) he finally does it and reaches the top of the ladder and the fans hate him for it, i knew the fans are mad but be mad at vince he's the one calling the shots wright a nasty letter to vince (that he will ignore just like he ignores the boos)
this time is the first time where the thumbnail is appropriate...
The best thing about Bludgeon Brothers was how aggressive they worked and tagged with each other, plus how they gt the crowd popping
The reaction AJ got is why, when you have a big enough star, you just need a great match for them to stay "strong" you don't need a dirty finish
Oli talking about genital warts going away and coming back are so he's told Luke's face he makes is priceless to funny HAHAHAHA LMFAO
The look of genuine pain and disgust on Oli's face at 1:20:23 was priceless
Hi Luke & Oli Are you planning on reviewing NXT on WrestletalkTV or WrestleRamble ?
Addition to great balls of Botch- at start of smackdown review you put the wrong graphic up... "who won"... anyway.. great show guys!!! 😊😊
1:19:15 He asked him not fire them because when Shane left he said he was going to enjoy watching them get beat and then watching Daniel fire them.
Mistake made by them 48:00
Randy showed brand loyalty during survivor series. He played the part of Shane's protector. After Shane tried to sneak attack Braun and found out how scary he is Orton jumped in front of him to protect him.
The beginning hand gestures are awesome. Wakes us all up.
Who would be a better fit for commissioner?
Andre was always (before his feud with hogan) was a baby face all around the world
His heel turn on hogan is one of the most infamous heel turns of all time, leading to one of the most famous feuds of all time and wrestlemania matches of all time!
I love the ramble shows. 😁😁
If you want to see a good dissection of Triple H's character, check out Landis's "Wrestling is not Wrestling" on TH-cam. #TheDriveToFiveKBayBay!
I'd love to see concept art of the "crap gimmick" wrestles..
Maybe see it as a comic in the magazine?!?!
Seriously, why do people dislike Jordan? He is fantastic on the ring, and is actually quite good and emotive on the mic. Sure the son storyline is a little silly, but that isnt his fault and at least he is different.
My favourite part of every wrestleramble is during Oli's intro when Luke does his hand gestures and expressions copying Oli's words
Anyone knows where to find the original Undisputed Era them music? Thank you in advance.
1 woman returning to WWE plus 5 new women introduced to the main roster? Calling now. #womensroyalrumble
Jolly Yellow Did you just steal what they said in the video
Jolly Yellow they been said it was happening so you not calling nothing
I said this on the smackdown video lol. Bit funny how we get 1 return n 5 women joining. I wud of preferred sanity going to raw tbh
I can't see them doing a women's rumble, it's too much to have two on one show. I wouldn't be surprised if we see 1 or 2 women released in the next few weeks
Jolly Yellow yes YOU were the first one to call this
i love how the women called up from nxt look like real women not barbie dolls draped in bright neon colours and hair dye and glitter. and they are attacking in a way that makes them seem equal to the men. it was genuinely impressive.
The Way Paige Said "I'm Baaaa aaaaa aaaaack" She Sounded Like An Old Grandma
I really want to see a Bludgeon Brothers vs The Authors of Pain and The Authors of Pain vs The Usos
39:48 that was wierd and amazing to hear at the same time 😄
Luke’s hand gestures are more over than Finn balor in the eye of vince McMahon 😹
Luke and Oli, at this moment, who would you say is WWE best performer of the year, in ring ability and character work. I would say Braun Strowman (even though vince pushes him more than others) and a close second would have to be The Miz, promos and in ring work has been on fire all year long
hands down best wrestling talk show out there!
The octopus failed, so I'll try again.
Crap Gimmick: The Delivery Driver-
The Delivery Driver is a wrestler who comes to the ring in a vehicle, similarly to Eddie Guerrero or Alberto Del Rio.
My dislike was because of the 6 unskippable 30 second ads👎🏼
Wrestletalk TV 1:07:23 according to a WWE exclusive video I saw on their TH-cam channel there's still tension between the hype bros
Andre The Giant was a face for the majority of his career, it wasn't until like five years before he retired that he turned heel. He was undefeated for 15 years straight without ever being a heel anywhere except for AJPW because for some reason Japanese people hates him.
which nxt women call up was better?? raw or smackdown? and i am not talking about Paige's return
debajyoti pradhan raw imo
debajyoti pradhan Raw because they got a hotter version of Alexa Bliss so now they can bury the midget girl
debajyoti pradhan smackdown
todd brown the new alexia is liv and she is on sdl not raw mandy and alexia is nothing alike just blonde
Charles Branscomb that's the point, she's a hotter blonde. And no Liv is the new Carmella they're the exact same character and dress the same
All Oli’s gimmicks1: wonder Oli2: generic interviewer3: NEW angry Oli
Mandy Rose definitely looks like a star....and that star is Trish Stratus ... not a slight on Mandy, thats a definite good thing :-)
The “lady call-ups” were good.
James Anania they need to stop calling them that lol
makeetah drill I wonder what people like you are like irl haha
That Guy I really don’t want anyone near my shit let alone want them to “feel it” :/
2 weeks later, would you still say that?
I mean it's not the best, but I don't see any problem with Stephanie's music
Luke / Oli ....Since you're still working on the drive to 5 slogan, here are my ideas:
The Attack for 500 Stacks!!
Oil said that the women’s 4 way was a no DQ but when Mandy and Sonia rushed the ring the bell rung to put a stop to the match
I'm not sure if Morgan, Deville & Rose are ready for the main roster. Let's see what they can do.
It would be incredible if all of the Shane/Bryan tension leads to a in-ring return for Bryan.

An AJ Styles VS Bobby Roode feud for the WWE Title would be really good.
have luke and oli ever been to Ireland cause I'm Irish and what in the hell are the accents 😂 also the Jerry Adams was Irish as hell
The Bludgen Brothers look like Live Action Role Players. Luke being into D & D makes sense he's into 2B
Does anyone remember that Luke was also “upset” with Smackdown a few months ago and Raw won I believe by a land slide🤔
Are they heel factions or something, NXT call ups?
It might just be me but when roman gets cheered i kinda forget why i dont like him in the first place
one guy was sitting in the same spot in the front row sense TakeOver bright green shirt and hat on he was there for four nights both PPV and Raw and SmackDown and 205 Live
I really don’t think we need a Women’s Royal Rumble this year. We have had so many 1st I think they can wait 1 more year for a Rumble and really build up to it
Couldn't get through my week without this channel #pusholi #pushluke #wonderoli #pushnaughtyluke
Instead of Paige getting Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, she gets one jobber and one person who hasn't even been on NXT since god knows when.
Nice.
48:28 well u guys messed up.....
Everytime i see the thumbnail like this i get the fuzzies
Despite the goofiness, I thought Roman looked more comfortable in this segment than many recently. I really liked this Shield promo.
Wasn't it a rolling senton from Shameas rather that a white noise off
the middle rope
They did cheapen Paige’s return. She returned on Monday Night Raw after Survivor Series. She should have returned at Survivor Series replacing someone in the Women’s 5 vs elimination match. Then show up on Monday Night Raw with her new faction.
1:18 Oli:Luke,ur kidding right
Hey guys, I've got a matter, a question for you to ramble about.
(i'm not talking about surprise comebacks, like the hardys for exemple (plus it was not so much WWE's work there, more the hardy's communication), more like build ups)
i thought jason jordan's delivery was great - maybe a bit more with facial expressions would improve it, but still
PS both you guys (oli and luke) said that roman was the one to go after the miz's title. it wasn't. roman said he didn't want to be the only member of the shield without a title. it was seth rollins who said "well, miz has a title belt and it's a really nice one too" or something to that effect
It made no sense that Jinder didnt want to fight AJ considering AJ just got beaten down by brock
I love it when Oli gets heated it's great!!
I think they messed up with Alexa bliss back stage. When Alexa bliss said nice to meet you I believe Sonya devile and Mandy rose were suppose to attack bliss and missed the que so Paige had to do it.
does patreon only accepts dollars?
I had hoped they would have Braun go after Miz and put the IC Title on him, since Miz was the leader of the group who dustbintrucked him.
Luke I was there at Raw live and people were chanting biscuit butt rather loudly.
Samy and KO said they could handle Raw 2 man but when Daniel told them to fight New Day. They where like that, that 2 on 3 that not fair.
Btw I love Irish Oli's Becky lynch impression ☺️☺️☺️
I wish I could like this video twice thanks to those references to The Room! "Oh hai Mark!"
"Inglesias", Luke... Hahaha
Feel like smack down will always be the b show because the superstars on each brands are very different in popularity status, feel as though smackdown just elevates characters for raw to establish them @WrestletalkTV
I really liked the bit where Harper hit Rowan, kind of giving them this kind of unhinged and aggressive persona
Fun option for spicy challenge: Spicest Ramen
Their jobs was on the line because Shane said he expects Bryan to fire Kevin and Sami after the match
