- In today's video we start the muck spreading on the farm, by taking the New Holland T7.245 up to the letterbox field. We then fuel up the Manitou forklift on the farm and take it up to load up the Agri Hire 18 Tonne muck spreader. We then carry out some spreading and after a period of time adjust the speed of the chain on the spreader so that the muck is slowly released over the field. The muck is an important part of the farms cropping rotation, as the farm has light and sandy soil which is hungry for organic matter and nitrogen. Farmyard manure also helps to build and improve soil structure. Enjoy todays video!

If you parked the tractor and spreader at 45 or 90 degrees to the muck pile it will be a lot easier to load. Less travel on the ground and less muck spilt.

Would you not park the spreader at a 45 degree angle to the dung heap it would make loading alot easier

The music says "THIS IS THE FUTURE" and the manure spreader is the exact same design and concept as my spreader from the 1950's LOL Things may get bigger, have more electronics and are shinier but it's all the same as it ever was

If you park the spreader at a 45 degree angle to the muck pile you will cut your traveling when loading in half and shorten your cycle times.

@@Dan55788 legal in England for all agricultural vehicles eg tractors, combines, telehandlers, utvs are all allowed to run on red. England has no such thing as green diesel, just red and white

That’s a beast of a tractor. If your 155r is around 195 hp then would the new Holland 225 not be a more direct comparison??
The 6155r is 155hp not 195, granted it can be boosted to around 185 but stock its 155hp

I have a T7 225 blue power , is quite good , the Auto command gearbox isn’t near as smooth as on a fendt tho
I stumbled on your channel the other day. I'm from the US. I like your videos. Just wondering, why do you say miles instead of kilometers since you're in England?
The UK never moved to using kilometres like the rest of Europe. Still miles. Speed limits are all in mph.
