The7 are a seven member boy group under Ganada Ent. a Korean label that wanted to create a debut project in Thailand with their already existing Korean members which are Yongkwon (1996), Youngmin (2001), and Woochul (2002). The Korean members flew to Thailand 2-3 months before the show started to adapt to the wheather, the food, the culture, the people, and the language. They explored Thailand and had a small tour with BamBam (Got7). Then the show began; the show consists of 12 episodes. The Thai members are four, which 2 where chosen by the people's votes and the other two by the mentors (korean members too). I recommend you watch the show so that you can know the members better. Thai members are Pa (1996 (members choice)), Opp (1995(people's choice)), Yo-Yo (1999(members choice)), and Peanut (2002( people's choice; top votes)). If I remember correctly, 2 of the 3 korean members were in NewKidd (their songs are good as well). I got to hear the song thanks to tiktok as well but I kinda recognized Opp on that one tiktok, so when I confirmed that it was him, the guy that I loved while watching Secret Crush On You (the bl where he acted) i was SHOCKED and lit soooo happy lmao I have been listening to this song since it came out a week ago, literally.
They're a Thai-Korean group but are currently promoting in Thailand so not sure whether to classify them as T-POP or K-POP but I think they can for sure become mainstays in the T-POP industry but I think K-POP's a lil too large, but you never know (The Korean members are also learning Thai and I'm not sure if the Thai members are learning Korean). Not sure if they'll promote in Korea in the future but they're already gaining a lot of international fans from their debut which is a great start. One of the Thai can speak Korean. Inthink they also will come out in Korea because one of the famous k-pop group 2pm Jun k. Was a producer of the show and the the song "the otherside". I love this debut. I absolutely adore their B-side track "Other Side," which was written by Jun. K from 2PM. I have played it so, so much.
