FYI if you use a girth hitch (feeding rope and prusik through the eye around the loop) for your lineman's rope on the side with an eye you can use the carabiner on the prusik (saving money and weight).
I’m new to saddle hunting also, just got my one stick setup completed a few weeks ago. Something to consider for your linemans belt, might want to girth hitch the one carabiner that stays attached to take up a little more of the loop and for a tighter connection to the carabiner and a locking carabiner on the other side instead of just the spring gate. Nice video.
As others mentioned, a girth hitch for your lineman’s rope. And as a safety measure you shouldn’t use a wire gate carabiner for that application. Some sort of locking gate carabiner is recommended.

This is correct. That's why the lineman comes with only one carabiner.
This video is perfect, thanks for the in depth walkthrough!
