Joined saltstrong a few days back. I fish western rivers of the Chesapeake. Mainly around the Piankatank. My boat is too small for the bay itself. Would greatly appreciate fishing with you folks
Gonna be back in Kill Devil in 2 weeks, coming from Pa. looking for a small charter for a day, just 2 of us. Can you recommend anyone? Love your vids, have learned a lot and improved my catch! Thanks
Starting at 6:00 you can see "oil slicks" . That's when trout are in a feeding frenzy and regurgitate (to eat again) and the oil from those old meals rises to the top. If your down wind it will smell like watermelon. Look out for them and start fishing up current from sliks until your on top on them.
You could invite guests for a charity challenge who will pledge money for every fish/pound caught that day. You might be able to get some "known" celebrities to go. Also...you don't have to be a charter service to have someone sponsor a fishing trip. It's just support for the channel. Make enough to take a wounded warrior or make a wish kid fishing. I think you two are sitting on a life long career. Still a fan. Robert H.
Hey y'all, I was wondering what your thoughts were on tandem jig head rigs with soft plastics. I have used them with much success for Trout. Just wondering your thoughts.
This weekend is the North Carolina seafood festival in Morehead City guys...thought yall would enjoy it...starts tomorrow friday 10/4/19..ps...I'll just wait for yall to visit Carteret county again to fish in my neck of the water
Went to VA Beach last weekend and finally used the Zman/Procure combo and caught a nice Trout (17.25") in size! Got me hooked, I'm coming back! I can't find a good place to use my gulp and Zman stuff up here in the mid-bay. Not much structure I can find without going far on my boat coming out of Solomons, MD.
I have been out of the fishing hobby for many years and would love a chance to go out with you guys to learn the fine art of using artificial baits . I have a boat again and I'm ready get on some fish. :)
I live 4 minutes from Rudee Inlet. I fish all over this area and catch ok stuff but not the size or quantity. I want to learn how to! I have 3 poles and tackle, I just need knowledge! Please please pick me! I’m dying to learn what these waters truly have to offer!
Great video, no landmarks, no houses, no bouys visible, nice to see ya catching fish without giving up the honey hole! When you show background in your film you might as well give gps coordinations . Surprised you did not try topwater, it always is the most fun for me, love to see the explosion and itis mostly bigger fish.
i love yalls videos but you have to stop saying "you guys" so much. omg its annoying! i keep watching hoping that you wont say it so much but nope..... thats just my opinion tho.
You guys should do a video where you compare scented vs. non-scented plastics. One person fishes one, one the other. See if it really matters...

I can’t believe y’all are releasing those specs back. We keep 25 a person in Louisiana.

Hey Guys! Would love for me and my 12yr old son to fish with you. He wants to catch Reds. We try from the surf but no luck yet.
I would love to see you guys fish Poquoson flats.
For the audience, please remember to get your hand wet before handling a Speckler. It helps the slime coat and survivability when you release them
Do you live in the obx now?
Wow must be nice to fish somewhere where grass isn't floating everywhere fouling your baits.
I wanna fish wit yall!

How can you say this is speckled trout, it is not a speckled trout, it's totally a different species of fish with different looks, no understander !
speckled sea trout part of the drum family not fresh water trout
