This indeed has been a well protected secret it seems for the entire time that BTS exists. She has NEVER been mentioned, nor has there been a photo anywhere. Right from the beginning in Jimin's career in his personal Korean vlogs when he returned to Busan for infrequent days off he exclusively mentioned his father and how grateful he was for him and all his childhood memories. It's been quite noticeable. All online searches seem to have been efficiently blocked ie. lead to nowhere. Even mention of his brother is relatively sparse when compared w the siblings of the other BTS members but pictures and comments do exist. And it doesn't seem that he doesn't want attention based on his online behavior. Anyway Parents Day in Korea is for all parents but on the cards Jimin has attached to the flowers he sent in 2023 & 2024 he clearly wrote only his father in his thanks. Jimin doesn't look anything like his father. Most 1st boys in families tend to look more like their mothers - it's just a genetic thing.
