I feel like one of the things people don't know about Nairobi is that it is so multicultural and you would find people from all races and religions living whereas I feel like people think that only people of African culture live here! Which they could not be more wrong! I absolutely love the fact that I am able to grow up Nairobi and highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit!

I don't know if she mentioned this but you can adopt the baby elephants and sponsor them. You can do all this online. The process is straightforward and they give you info and updates on how your baby is doing. The money goes towards paying the workers and for their training. The workers often have to spend the night in the pens with the elephants to keep them calm. Check their fb page as well. Karibu Kenya!

I went to Kenya through Me To We and The Children's Wish Foundation, honestly, it was life changing for me. Our last stop on the trip was to the DSWT and I also adopted an elephant names Oltaiyoni! She was so sweet. Daphne Sheldrick and the DSWT hold a special place in my heart.
