I shop at my local Walmart weekly, and I honestly get that the employees are treated like crap. That's why I go in early at 6-7am, so that when I use assisted checkout, if something goes wrong, there is no one behind me 99 times out of 100, so I can tell the employees to take their time to fix it, no rush, since I am usually the only customer in the store at that time. I am very polite, and treat them with the respect they deserve. Also, here is a key tip, if something is not on the shelf in the grocery section at Walmart, like twinkies for example, then it might actually be there, just at the very top, where they store the items that "aren't on the floor". They won't have it in a back room, it will be on the very top of the shelf. If it's not there, then they won't have it. I am very tall, so I can reach those items, without needing to get employee assistance.

Any viable flowers will be picked out, recut and put in fresh water to be added to new flower arrangements later.

Not for saying that Hooters girls thing is like 'slave labor'. That is patently absurd to say. Do I think the requirements are excessive and over the top? Yes. But slave labor implies that the employees have no choice but to comply, and as unpleasant as the prospect might be, finding a different job or quitting is an option every single person has, no matter what their job is. Giving two weeks notice is a courtesy, and appreciated by most employers, but unless you're in some place like China or enlisted in the military, you always have the option to walk away.

Regarding the Subway story and the iridescent sheen on roast beef: that's called "diffraction", and it's totally normal. A piece of meat like beef is made out of loads of microscopic muscle fibers all sandwiched together, and when they're cut perpendicular to how they're aligned, light shining through the layers of muscle end up scattering, causing the rainbow effect. It's most noticeable on roast beef and ham because they're darker in color, and cured deli meats tend to be denser than raw meat due to the curing process, which makes the muscle fibers stay tight and aligned with each other.

Also on the Panera bread, with the Peanut Butter and Jelly, don't be so quick to crap on the Peanut Butter. The Great Value Peanut Butter, is actually made by Conagra Foods, the makers of Peter Pan Peanut Butter. Conagra even came out and admitted they make Great Value and Peter Pan Peanut Butter on the same production line. The jars are just sent intermittently to different labeling stations in a 1-1 pattern. In other words, there is no difference between peter Pan and Great Value peanut Butter other than the labeling and the price. It's the same exact Peanut Butter. Panera could even claim to use Peter Pan Peanut Butter instead of organic, and it wouldn't be false advertising, as its the same peanut butter made on the same line.

Used to work for Tenovus Cancer Charity, the one about E-Commerce sales is legit, if we got any sort of 'pricey' item, electronics, jewellery, brand clothes, etc etc we'd look up for what it was selling on eBay and selling it at that price minus 10-20%. Honestly I don't think this was a problem, the Charity gets more money and it's still cheaper than new, plus it has the added bonus that the people who trawl Charity Shops to resell on eBay aren't getting as much of a profit as they'd like, we were very strict on prices. Also to all the record resellers and shop owner, we can ALWAYS tell.
The Good Will one? Yeah, they pay the mentally challenged less than minimum wage. This was my cousin. They eventually fired him for not working hard enough. Basically the reason they get to pay less than minimum wage is because they are told not to expect full work ethics because those people _can't_ do things normal people can do. Good Will expects it anyways and _demands_ cheaper labor. Good Will is a TERRIBLE company. The goal of this is to give disabled / mentally challenged people _something_ productive to do, even if it's just a little bit. And to get outside of the house. This is a good thing. Places like Good Will look to abuse and extort these people. It really is a terrible company and the c-level's should be in prison.
The issue is, if people don't buy the flawed first version of device, there likely won't be a second wave, or at least the wave won't be as impactful. If no one is buying a product, people assume it must not be good. Happens all the time with food trucks. If no one sees people at your truck, they will be less likely to go themselves assuming it must be bad, and that's why no one is there. Not realizing, that there can't always be a bust period, and sometimes youll get slammed, orhertimes you sell maybe half your products. Average people aren't very rational with their thinking, and make illogical assumptions/connections where there isn't valid reason to do so.
Comment on the ticket sales story: a lot of companies operate in this and other shady ways, and depending on what state they're based out of, and what fine print is listed in their terms and conditions, this is completely legal, if completely morally wrong.

I can only speak for Florida, but I worked 8 hour shifts without food on a regular basis and a few 12 hour shifts when I worked at Subway. The first time I had a 12 hour shift without lunch I looked it up. This is perfectly legal in Florida unless it's part of your employment contract. My tea on Subway is that the only thing fresh is the vegetables (and this assumes it's a well-managed Subway, I've worked at 5 different ones and seen some things. Check the floors, especially by the drinks, if it's clean there's a decent chance it's a good Subway. A busier Subway will always have better food since it can't sit). The lunch meats aren't frozen, the rest of them are. Meatballs have probably been reheated 3 or 4 times unless it's a busy store. Only buy roast beef if it looks pink; it's the most inconsistent product and is pretty gross when it's brown.

1: you sound like you are just a karen. 2: participation trophies, gtfo. Thats not the issue and you know that damn well. The issue is companies can literally do anything and not face any consequences. They can straight up murder thousands of people and at the absolute worst, SHTF scenario, they get fined a small percentage of their worth, money they have pre-budgeted at the start of the year to pay these fines. Because its cheaper to do illegal stuff and pay fines than do work honestly.

piggybacking off the ATT discussion, I worked with a partner company that ended up dropping ATT from the partner program, every agent I worked with didn't enjoy dealing with the ATT partner calls since ATT never handled their side of the deal in their companies program side and always put it on us to fix the issues with partner billing, basically trying to make us bite the bullet on money issues so they didn't have to pay for mistakes.
worked with a partner company that sold att as well, can confirm. i never used att but had to call them multiple times for customers. they absolutely do not care about anyone but high paying customers and i had a couple agents actually hang up because they didn't wanna deal with me and the customer
I worked at KFC 30 years ago in CA. No one was that stupid to do those things at my store. Also our Managers and Assistant Managers were adults well into their 30’s.
1:40:52 I can attest to this. When I was setting up my Internet the install guy was running late. They said he would be at my place between 9am and noon. I called at noon when he hasn't shown up and just asked for a status update and I was polite about it. She explained the guy was held up at another house with complications and he would be there within the hour and gave me two months of Internet for free for the inconvenience. I didn't really care that he was late because I had just moved and I was unpacking that day. I had also gotten a promo with a visa gift card worth 5 months of Internet so I essentially got 7 months free out of my one year contract.
Krogers has dept head meetings every two weeks and HR always has the first word, always mentioning D.I.E. politics or policies. They also regularly demonstrate female leadership shout outs exclusively during the KTV company video demonstration. They are very well known for having one of the lowest comparable wages in the food industry. They will also hap hazardly implement new policies or work standards w/o proper testing and expect impossible results that can't possibly be met with the rigid standards they demand from the tasks implementation, I can go into greater detail but won't here. Performance reviews are also not allowed to be completely positive, you're encouraged to make at least 2 marks of "needs improvement" regardless of the employee's performance.
I once took a temp job at the dairy plant which distributed Krogers dairy products in Murfreesboro, TN. The reason Krogers milk was so cheap is because they took gallon after gallon of curdled expired milk and poured it into a big vat where it is heated to 210° F and then rebottled it. (Re-pasteurization)

57:30 It is better to ask for no ice at all, since in many locations the machine does not actually have an option for light ice in the drinks and only has none, normal, or extra 57:40 Not true in some locations, as what alot of them do is simple have a decent portion of nuggets available ahead of time that they put into boxes as they become needed 58:10 not true in a lot of locations actually, many locations cook quarter pounders to order. 58:28 not completely true, most mcdonalds locations make things only once they are ordered, as that reduces wasted food and there is still enough time for it to get made after you start ordering if you are in the drivethrough, if you are in the store however it does result in food taking longer however 58:35 not true at least at my location, we don't give out anything extra, but we do need to keep the line moving and you are not going to get your food any faster by blocking everyone behind you
Ive got to the point i only shop at stores that buy over stock or buy stuff other stores can't sell it if i do go to Walmart which is one or twice every 3 months i go to clearance and if there's something i want i wait to the end of the season
To the mcdonalds comments, half of these are untrue. The quarter pounder patties are made fresh, to order. If you want fresh fries, request cook to order. I would drill into my management and crew to throw away old food. Former McD GM here.
Video game releases with problems suck. I was big into video games in the 80s and 90s but had stopped playing because life happens. I was getting into video games so my son and I could play them together. I bought Dead Island when the original 1st came out. The game would constantly freeze to the point it was completely unplayable. It was so bad, I have not bought and have barely played a video game since then.
12:05 This is a load of horse shit. This person likely worked there for a few weeks to months, didn't understand the product, and fucked up enough transactions to get fired. While a lot of what they said is mostly correct, their representation of it is not. Things are actually worse than they describe. But they don't understand it well enough to describe it. Dude thinking Australian kitchens and fast food restaurants are nasty has obviously never looked into any of them here in the US. I bet he would die if he found out that people ate deer, rabbits, squirrel, and pigeon here in the US as well. 🤦
Please explain how its 'gross' to eat deer, rabbit, squirrel, or pigeons. Considering it has been done across the globe by most civilizations for thousands of years.
Story 43 is very outdated. McDonalds does not give out free pies and fries for you pulling off to the side for your order taking longer. Quarter pounders are cooked to order every time, and all the normal proteins are stored in heat boxes to be added to sandwiches as they're ordered. The salted fries one is still absolutely true, but most of that guy's information is severely outdated. Still a shit restaurant to work for, especially in the kitchen.

When the dust settled , AT&T sent my refund to the state unclaimed funds department. It was their way of making getting my money back harder. They are 100% a$$holes.

Time to sleep, night night everyone😴😴😴
Uhhh a lot of this stuff is illegal in the EU. Like wrongly labeling/exchanging ingredients food, etc.
Thank you so much for uploading another vid, pls upload more
goodwill i got stories about that place the workers would take a lot of the expensive bags and such home and give/sell the items for cheap to make up the difference in pay.
I am pretty sure we in the US learned not to block doors back in the 1800 to early 1900.
7:00 unless its the Xbox 360 (the kind with the outside harddrive), those things were buggy af for like 3 release lines as far as ive heard
All these stories where the folks didn’t name the company completely missed the point of the prompt. You don’t work for them anymore. Name the companies.
That quarter pounder advice hits different after the recall on quarter pounders here that KILLED SEVERAL PEOPLE. (It was the onions.)
Please clarify, wtf do you mean onions KILLED several people?
@@EagleTarget-gt4fmbacteria on the onions…duh
“Take what you want and trash the rest”
“He was pissed”
Could’ve done a reverse uno like “you told me to take what I want and trash the rest yeah? And what I took is mine? Meaning I can do what I wish with it? I wanted all of it. All of it was mine. I wanted to send it to this guy. I did what I wanted with what was mine.”
@@rinpaisys I agree that the employee did the right thing but I think that the boss was more angry that the employee made the store pay for it rather than the employee paying out of pocket.
Again, I reiterate that the employee did the right thing.
piggybacking off the ATT discussion, I worked with a partner company that ended up dropping ATT from the partner program, every agent I worked with didn't enjoy dealing with the ATT partner calls since ATT never handled their side of the deal in their companies program side and always put it on us to fix the issues with partner billing, basically trying to make us bite the bullet on money issues so they didn't have to pay for mistakes.
worked with a partner company that sold att as well, can confirm. i never used att but had to call them multiple times for customers. they absolutely do not care about anyone but high paying customers and i had a couple agents actually hang up because they didn't wanna deal with me and the customer
For story 25…I seriously hope OP was wearing PPE from that soot.
@@brianmckennon9460 Ew!
About how the company operates and how bad their boss is from their perspective🤔🤔
Dont buy any phones from the phone store unless its the first on the plan or your sim card is gone/destroyed. You can upgrade yourself by buying new or used ones off the internet, my refurbished s20 was 200 dollars 2 years ago.
Funny how no one who is watching this from the start at regular speed without skipping is done right now
Favorite shit to listen to at work
I ain’t religious buut I pray the first guy comes back a bit more TEH new vc’s aren’t bad besides Ken I guess idk but first will always be my favorite

It is better to ask for no ice at all, since in many locations the machine does not actually have an option for light ice in the drinks and only has none, normal, or extra
57:40
Not true in some locations, as what alot of them do is simple have a decent portion of nuggets available ahead of time that they put into boxes as they become needed
58:10
not true in a lot of locations actually, many locations cook quarter pounders to order.
58:28
not completely true, most mcdonalds locations make things only once they are ordered, as that reduces wasted food and there is still enough time for it to get made after you start ordering if you are in the drivethrough, if you are in the store however it does result in food taking longer however
58:35
not true at least at my location, we don't give out anything extra, but we do need to keep the line moving and you are not going to get your food any faster by blocking everyone behind you
I love this narrator
Ive got to the point i only shop at stores that buy over stock or buy stuff other stores can't sell it if i do go to Walmart which is one or twice every 3 months i go to clearance and if there's something i want i wait to the end of the season
In my country its a federal offense to fake a signature on anpakage recieval form
The first guy’s NDA clearly has not expired
To the mcdonalds comments, half of these are untrue. The quarter pounder patties are made fresh, to order. If you want fresh fries, request cook to order. I would drill into my management and crew to throw away old food. Former McD GM here.
Video game releases with problems suck. I was big into video games in the 80s and 90s but had stopped playing because life happens. I was getting into video games so my son and I could play them together. I bought Dead Island when the original 1st came out. The game would constantly freeze to the point it was completely unplayable. It was so bad, I have not bought and have barely played a video game since then.
We are required to get insurance to certain things by law. So we're a captive audience. Go figure.

This is a load of horse shit. This person likely worked there for a few weeks to months, didn't understand the product, and fucked up enough transactions to get fired. While a lot of what they said is mostly correct, their representation of it is not. Things are actually worse than they describe. But they don't understand it well enough to describe it.
Source: Worked for ATT, Verizon, and T-Mobile in sales and management over 10 years.
It sounds like Viagogo is a European thing. I've never heard of them.
What does OOP stand for?
I don’t think company secrets work like that
I can vouch for story 50.
Goodnight guys
Still a shit restaurant to work for, especially in the kitchen.
nice
