I read The Husbands and had an okay time. I liked seeing various permutations of what could happen within that concept, but yeah, it got repetitive.

Katie good point but it’s not The Spouses it’s The Husbands.
I feel like I always post the same thing about The Husband's when I see it in a video, but I hate when books just drop you into the middle of the situation without context or some background on the main character. I find it hard to root for a character that I know next to nothing about. I didn't hate it, but I think I got halfway, then skipped to the end to see what happened.
I probably couldn't handle this book because i can't handle virgos. Knew a triple virgo who had ocd. Worst person ive ever known.

🪑 I felt the same about the husbands! I thought the slight twist was going to change things up …. but nope it just continued to be repetitive with an uninspired ending. 🥲 it should’ve been a novella or stayed in the drafts until the author knew what to do with the concept

All vibes no plot 🥹 p.s. - every time someone mentions astrology I recommend ✨Exalted by Anna Dorn✨ & oh my i think you would LOVE IT 🥰 it is delulu mc + smart ass prose + astrology galore. For reference, Jan gave it 5 stars ⭐️ (i read it bc of her).
I always think of Drive Your Plow Over The Bones of The Dead when people mention astrology, the main character brings it up A LOT
