This is the best multiplayer ARMA DLC experience I have ever had, thank you ALL so much for all the attention that has been put into making this game one of the most enjoyable adventures currently out there.
I would give SGD my soul if they made WWII content for ARMA 3. Their attention to detail and respect for veterans is 100% top notch. I have the highest respect for Savage Game Design and will support whatever content they bring to ARMA 3 (if they do).
Having played Arma for over a decade now, the Prairie Fire DLC is without a doubt the best Arma experience I've ever had. Absolutely stellar work. One request: My dad was in country in 1968 with the 1st of the 44th on an M42 Duster. On his 21st birthday he took an RPG-7 hit in the turret, with the warhead penetrating the front and back of the turret, passing between his arm and his body and blowing him out of the tank. Great story. It would blow his mind to see his track modeled in the game, not to mention how much fun it would be to blast away with the 40mm Bofors guns. If that's something you guys are working on, man, let me know... Keep up the great work. Can't wait to play the new terrain.
@@NoSaysJo What I mean is that for a ww2 expansion. They would have to re-work the entire or at least partially the AI for it to work. For example in the current version of the game, planes don’t fly in formation.
@@HankScorpioXX read the statements I have written before questioning what I’m saying. I said that if a ww2 expansion was to come. The ai would need to be changed. I used ai being unable to fly in formation as an example because it would be noticeable when creators are making air combat missions. Like bomber escort for example

Duuude this looks fun as tits! As a helicopter pilot in training, I gotta say it’s always been my go to daydream to imagine myself a helo pilot in Vietnam! Going on all sorts of missions, dropping troops, attacking ground forces, providing reconnaissance, setting up the bases, ferrying the top brass or hell, even just being the schmuck who flies the fuel and supply missions as part of the logistics train and never seeing actual combat. Thanks for making my daydreams just that much more vivid! P.S. it’s crazy how concepts I learn in flight school can be /clears throat/ attempted later that night in-game

Since there’s now some ww2 weapons, I’m wondering if there’s a possibility of a spin-off Vietminh campaign where you will be combating Japanese occupiers
There's some pretty awesome stuff with this. I only just got this dlc last week, just after seeing this update was out. I like what's there so far. However the bit that's really missing, which to me personally feels key, is airpower. The Huey and Seahorse are nice, and I love the Phantom with it's timed bomb release mechanic, are great. But only the Mi-2 for VC? Not even a MiG-21 or MiG-17 to counter the F-4? No proper CAS aircraft like the A-1 Skyraider or A-7 Corsair II? And no S-60 VC AAA flak bursts to shoot them down? :P I do hope that somewhere down the line we do see those in game. But apart from that there's been some great content so far, easily the best DLC arma has had since APEX
@@ratslayer7765 I think both have good things to bring to the table. But unfortunately you are correct, Unsung still provides a lot more assets than SOG:PF currently
@@cromwellthesynth I feel like Unsung is better gameplay wise, i have both but only use PF for maps, to me SOG:PF isnt really realistic enough aswell, a lot of things are not really accurate especially air weaponry and small arms damage

It might be in the older Unsung mod, which has a lot more equipment/vehicles but it's nowhere near as high quality
