If you want it, Make it! Thanks for Watching!
Thanks for watching! Here's the step by step tutorial article...
Thanks! I have to replace the corner post of my house and thought a car jack would work to hold
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection
Do you anchor those bottom plates to the concrete? Maybe I missed that part?
Really like the way those columns changed the look of the porch. Got me reevaluating my patio
Know it is an older video, but just did this project in 2021. Wanted to say thanks for the great video and tips! Made my project easier!
Great instructional video.
Great video. Sweet, to the point. I will subscribe. I like how you don’t try to act like everybody has been doing carpentry for 30 years.
Awesome job. Looks awesome!! Take Care.
Very nice work. Great color choice.
Thanks for this. Getting ready to replace rotten 6×6's for first time. Concrete surrounds the posts im replacing and posts were on dirt. Would it be best to fill in with concrete before installing? Just doing a little research for best way to do it.
that turned out great. I like the look far better than the previous. good job!!!
Looks great! Great job! Where would I find those Galvanized post bases (with flush bottom)?
That was great. I'm looking to do the exact same thing but have been torn whether to do 4x4 and then wrap in pine/ cedar ABC's stain... or use a treated 6x6 and stain. Your 6x6s looked pretty fresh, no issues with the stain soaking in?
That's a great looking upgrade to your house Shawn! Awesome Job!
House looks great! I'm in the middle of this right now- just ripped down the old porch ceiling and will be replacing one rotted post. Planning on boxing them out to about 7" square.
The columns turned out great! Nicely done.
Thank you for the Video!!! What color was that stain? that looks awesome!
I like your videos. My In-Laws live in your town. I live 2 hours from you! Keep the videos coming man!!
