  • Here is full race coverage of round 7 of the British Supermoto 450 Elite championship from Teeside Autodrome.
The championship has been dominated so far by reigning champion Chris Hodgson on his Skyzone KTM.
DCR Racing's Davey Todd has been getting stronger and more consistent as the season wears on and could spring a surprise here as he secured pole, with Hodgson down in 4th behind SH Racing riders Malachi Mitchell-Thomas and Ben Stafford, both European championship riders, with Mitchell Thomas the current European Championship leader.
Sadly the race does not feature James Addy, who made such a strong comeback from injury at the previous round at 3 Sisters, and gave Team 698 Racing a presence at the front of the field.
What I can promise is that this race goes down to the wire, with a blanket finish for a change.

That's " Teesside" not Teeside..i.e. beside the Tees

big difference between this and the american SuperMoto. Here we'd have woops and jumps as well as just a longer dirt section period. Heck most of the time the street sections are larger and faster as well, at least at a pro level. Case in point, look at the Xgames video

We have that too, but not every track is the same.

Yes - Rednal and Finmere have HUGE jumps, but for some reason Teeside doesn't have any. They could use a jump and a better dirt section in my opinion.
