This is because I adapt aperture and shutter to suit my personal needs. I also use ISO at 200, but will use auto only when the light drops low, as that adapts ISO for those grab shots that might otherwise be lost . I agree with all you say. Understand light and use it effectively . Yes, less is always more. Your photos illustrate the point perfectly .
