I am actually getting ready to clean and reorganize my pantry, but I have been stalling. Especially since it took me 4 months to reorganize a closet (that included a new floor, lots of painting, and some good procrastinating). I'm pretty good at starting projects and not so good and finishing, lol. Thanks for the inspiration I need to get started. And 'Hello' to adorable Clover.
Your pantry has the feel of a butlers pantry the way it is right off the kitchen. When I build my forever home it will have one. I think they are so practical.
Oh you have so many goodies in your pantry! We didn't have a lot of money as a kid so I got used to making grocery lists with only the meal items on them, and maybe a single treat or two. Planning out meals makes less food waste, nothing ever makes it to the expiration date :) If anything ever makes it close (I see you, can of Yams glaring at me from the back corner) or doesn't get eaten that week, it's next week's meal!
On the first shelf of the pantry is all the food I need to use in the current month. This way The food stuffs can be used before the expiration date. The second shelf is for the next month and last shelf for longer dates. There is a beverage cupboard and a baking cupboard. This way all the dates don't need to be checked. I have learned so much from these videos.
Hi Kay! Every time when you get your hands on flour, honestly, makes me trill a little bit.."oh gosh, she is not going to shake it again":)) It means, I am watching your channel for a bit.., I found it from those first video's which were made for your clients. Just wanted to say, I am still here, still love it and enjoy it, thanks for your work!
My husband would totally wipe out the shelves on the stairs every time he zoomed past them 🤣 I definitely have to keep things in cupboards in my house, lol.
Unfortunately I don’t have a pantry just cupboards that are deep. So I tend to put labels along the shelves so that I can keep track where things are. Loving the container store system the previous owner left for you! It works so well and those thin shelves leading to the basement are just right for canned goods. I prefer clear bins also, holding bags without having to decant and keeping them fresh is my jam.
My spouse will put things right next to where they need to go. He will stack recycling *right* next to the empty recycling bin; he will take off his shoes *right* next to the shoe caddy; he will leave dishes *right* next to the dishwasher, but never in it, etc. He says he's being efficient. I say he's being an asshat 😅
😉 hon it's a man thing! Nothing we ladies can do about it. My late husband was so bad at throwing his clothes on the floor right next to the open top hamper never IN it.
This truly looks so beautiful. Definitely making my desire to organize more of my home stronger! Also making my desire for more Elfa stronger! I need to make a dedicated savings for that and add money monthly! I'm not quite sure what area of my home I'm going to tackle next, but all of it will be inspired by you! I should make a playlist of all your inspiring organization videos (I mean all your videos are inspiring) to watch when my motivation slacks! I'm strongly considering converting to a spice drawer because of you
Hi Kay, I was so excited to see another video on organization. Love all your videos and you always get me motivated to refresh my organizations I’ve done. I always see new ideas. You do such a beautiful and loving job. I LOVE to organize and clean. Hope you are doing well . Keep it up girl. You are awesome!!!!! Again give Clover a good belly rub from Denver for me.
Swiffer 360 dusters are one of my go to dusters. For cleaning fluids, I prefer Pledge Multi surface. Except for bathrooms and toilet 🪠. Those take stronger cleaners like Lysol and Scrubbing Bubbles.
Lovely organisation and great use of space. We don’t have a pantry, only kitchen cupboards but I am reorganising them soon so your tip about reusable labels was great, I will have to see if I can get them here in Finland, I am going to experiment with chalk marker first though to see if that works on my containers. By the way you have gorgeous hair.
Hi Kay ! I'm new to your channel (credit to The Crafty Organizer -Norrine). I'm just loving your videos, and learning some tips and tricks for decluttering. I have a pantry and a bedroom closet that needs a MAJOR overhaul, (not counting under the bathroom sink and kitchen sink). I really love the way you organize things. I have to admit that i have a huge problem of procrastinating ! Seriously, I could be an episode on Hoarders...LOL ! I'm looking for great ideas for storing stuff and decluttering, you see I have cancer (2 types) and have been battling it going on 3 years(as of tomorrow April 9th 2022). Love watching your channel, keep sharing girl. Thanks !
Kay, what do you usually use the bulgar for? I love how your organization is so PRACTICAL, yet also looks good. Too many organization videos showcase "perfect," unachievable and impractical results.
I feel like I have to do this like once a month just because food is always rotating in and out and we try to change it up. It helps me to see what needs used up so I just wprk things that have been sitting there a while into my meal plan.
Careful where you store yeast because it’s heat sensitive. I keep yeast in air tight container in fridge, especially my bread maker yeast that I use seasonally.
The can of food wasn't expired, that was a sell-by date. Also, it has been coming out that the food is still good years past the "best by" date. (this info is not for those who want to throw away the food on those dates, but for those who are trying to build up a store of food, or those who can't afford to throw food away)
I wish I had an honest pantry, the house I grew up in had one of the best I have ever seen. And not gonna lie, I was sorta hoping for a full on commercial for your sponsor.
Yuk!!! If you go to skillshare, they immediately ask for name & CC before I could see what courses they have. I need a sales pitch or a peek at their stuff before I'll give them my financial info.
Looking Good :) except that if you are storing your potatoes next to your onions , is that not making the potatoes go bad faster ? Never mind I did see that you are no longer having potatoes next to the onions. :)
Life is all about perspective…. If your husband were to pass away, God for bid, you would be wishing to see his shoes at the back door. Trust me . I have lived through it. The things that used to frustrate you now, will seems so minuscule and unnecessary.

Here's a tip for you! Keep yeast in freezer and it will keep forever (King Arthur Saf-Instant is best!!)
Huh? Really? Thanks for this. I'm always throwing out yeastbecause I turn around and it has expired.🙏🏽

Nothing says ‘I’ve had enough of these shenanigans’ like that face from Clover! Love your channel!
My OCD wouldn’t be able to see my pantry on the stairs - I need it to be behind closed doors - but you are sooo organized with it

I’d love to see your fridge organization too. 😊

If a pantry is small enough, you could make a list of ingredients and best buy dates or expiration dates to help use up food before it goes bad.
Love your use of space even though I would have too many cocktails and take a bunch of cans down with me haha

Your pup seems happier in your new house.
Your pantry is so beautiful and functional! I love it!
Thanks for sharing details about the elpha utility shelving. It’s exactly what I need for my new shallow pantry space. I’m excited!
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for the Super Thanks! ❤️

Looks great Kay! Also, side bar . . . I really love your hair in this vid! lol! :D

Uh oh.... Now I have to do my pantry. Microfiber cleaning cloths are just the best.
Microfibre really are the best! Not only do they work amazingly well but they also dry super quick which is an added benefit/bonus!

I literally make ONE dish with bulgar and it’s a recreation of the Amazon meal we fell in love with when we were displaced.
It’s not available anymore but you can steal the recipe lol www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07D1FVD4R/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8
I always have to re-do my pantry. Not sure what I'm doing wrong that it doesn't stay organized.
i love your shirt. It's giving me the warm and fuzzies.
Lol hubby's boots! Always in wrong spot. I have a stairway pantry too. Keep all canned goods there. I wish I had the space at top of stairs .
Awesome 🤩 Love the cookbook corner 📚

Love the stairway pantry ! Very cool.
I was obsessed with TheDropout and can't wait to watch the series!
Can you tell me about recipes you make with lentils? I haven’t tried them before but I want to. Love the tour! Pantry cleaning is so satisfying!
I wish I had an honest pantry, the house I grew up in had one of the best I have ever seen. And not gonna lie, I was sorta hoping for a full on commercial for your sponsor.
Why decant into containers instead of keeping in original packaging?
Great job organising
What is the large white square bin above the aprons in the pantry?
Compost bin
Can we have a video on making falafel bread, please.
Thanks for sharing!
Hello kay and clover! Should potatoes and onions be kept separate

Actually, I re-watched a section and saw 2 large potatoes in the drawer with the onions originally, but where did they end up?
💙💛🥰🐶🥰💛💙
Second comment! Hi Kay!
Not 1984....LOL 😄
You I like.
PLEASE be super careful climbing down a ladder on that landing--you don't want to go tumbling down the stairs!
I notice that as well when she was organizing the pantry where the stairs are. ❤️ her videos.
