For me my experience is very different as I have had no issues with traction, whether indoor or outdoor. My theory is that this is a qc issue where some people may get a dud when it comes to the traction. Cause some reviewers have also had no issues with the Zion 3’s traction while some have had issues with it. And if that is the case, Jordan Brand really needs to do a better job with their qc and wear testing.

Had high hopes for this model but the lack of traction is a no go. thanks for the review!

Can you use the drop in midsole in your Kobe 8?

No problem! I haven’t tried putting in the Zion drop in midsole into the Kobe’s but I will when I have a moment and hopefully remember to get back to you!

The Zion drop in midsole fits into the Kobe 8s!

I just got them and for me the traction isn't that bad

You were really sliding around and falling in the clips when talking about the bad traction. And then strangely, the traction seemed ok later on in the clips of you playing.

Well like I mentioned in the video, depending on the court condition you still can get some degree of grip out of these. It really all depends on the court condition so in the clips where I’m sliding it’s a really dusty court (as explained in the video).

Agree that grip also depends on the court condition. But in your video you were on the same court - so unless you swept the floor between takes, I’d say you purposely flopped around to make your point.

@@jameela.bandali9044I see what you mean now. In the clips where I’m sliding on that specific court I’m trying out moves that require harder stops and faster footwork which is why I slipped. And with the traction being the way that it is I couldn’t catch myself either when I fell. In the other clips, I’m going half speed so I don’t slip. And in other clips on that court when I do speed up a bit I can notice the shoes slipping a bit. So no, was not faking it. You can believe what you want but as a reviewer I’m always going to give my honest opinion based on my experience.

Yeah, I haven’t been the biggest fan of any of the shoes they’ve put out recently performance wise

Was so excited for the Tatum 1's especially cuz the design is amazing and different. But the back heel bottom being foam is insane. I've never in my life have seen that on a basketball show. I wore them twice n gave em away. Luka 1's, once again look amazing but the side plates hurt my feet and the ankle edge material is cheap. The 2's look terrible so I'm not even gonna try those. The only shoe tht has been been amazing to play in was the Zion 2. Tht shoe is incredible.
