Razer Wolverine v2 Chroma! Best Pro PC/Xbox Controller?

- Finally got round to giving my review and thoughts on the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma. Took me long enough! Is this the best choice on value for Money for those in search of a pro controller for xbox/Pc?
I love this controller. The Razer Wolverine v2 Chroma does all the things I wish every controller did. The review was fun, and this thing has taken a BEATING.

I've managed to pick up and use this controller (in white) since July 1s; disconnected it and reconnected it from PC's to Xboxes at least twice per day and played almost 4-12 hours of Halo every day. I'm learning to be less rough with this controller naturally because I'm a hard gripper with big hands, and this fits my hands perfectly. I want to be gentle with this controller because it feels amazing, my Series S controller I cannot pick up anymore because it feels inferior.
After all of this gaming, the drift is still non-existent and I have my dead-zones STILL set at 0 in the Razer app and on Halo, still nothing,. It's a very responsive controller while still holding up to being transported frequently, rapidly smashing every button on it and almost non-stop gaming abuse for several hours at a time. I'm pretty impressed and I'm glad that I made this choice (esp @ $99 brand new on sale). I don't have much experience with other Pro Controllers, this one is by far the nicest controller that I have ever played with and everyone who has used it a bit likes it. My gaming ability on controller skyrocketed after the hefty learning curve and it continues to do so.
When this thing breaks I'm buying another one.

Great controller, but I honestly couldn’t get down with the back paddle design, hands ended up cramping too much. Trying the victrix gambit and eswap s and will settle on one of the two
I got the Gambit, whilst it actually plays well, it felt way too cheap and plasticky, and that comes from a person who is not usually bothered by issues like that. Hope you like it though!
@@YauboyyI have it as well and couldn’t have said it better I also prefer the 2 paddle layout on that controller but even that feels kinda weird but the 4 paddle is also weird and the bumpers are kinda mid but the triggers are nice and I like the buttons there’re decent but it’s the paddles that’s feel plastic to me
longer sticks are game changers for FPS. longer range make easier to aim and control the recoil

Longer sticks could be detrimental if you have a flick aim playstyly
Playing for honor with the v2 has been alight still a solid controller.
When my DualSense breaks I think I will go with the v2. Great review mate, love the videos

My Razer app will not detect my Wolverine v2 pro and it’s pissing me off.
Still works just be nice to fine tune things and mess with the rgb to match the rest of my pc & razer crap. Oh well. Best controller I’ve held in my life regardless and love the clicky buttons
The Thrustmaster eSwap S Pro is my current daily driver right now, with some Kontrolfreekz because I have giant thumbs. Better than my Wolverine Ultimate, but this has me wanting to try out the V2 and see if it addresses the issues I had with the one on the shelf behind me.
A few people have mentioned this to me I might have to save a bit and give it a shot!

So are the multi-use buttons like macro-buttons? Can they be assigned multiple things, or just a single button rebind? Can you do like "left trigger + A" to M2?
The only reason to get this controller IS THE DPAD! And you said that’s one of the only cons… funny

I find this controller inferior to the wolverine ultimate. It just feels cheap and lacking by comparison

I was wondering if the controller had any way to set it up so you can mute your mic with a button? Or any attachments i could get to do that?
Looking at it the controller doesn't seem like my old headset adapter i usually use would fit it, being able to mute myself is something I REALLY want to be able to do so i was wondering if it had any options for that.

I fully agree. Razer needs to release an upgrade with wireless induction charging, and a charging stand. That would allow you to run the RGB without the wire, and will charge like a smartphone.
no...we dont want wireless to increase the price ..the point is for competitive play... if u serious u wont use wireless ....thats for noobs

Its great but the windows razer controller software wont work with it
Just wish the back buttons were the same as the tournament edition and the view/menu weren't so high up
Does anyone if it still has that stiff deadzone issues like the earlier batches? That’s the only thing that stopped me from buying cuz I play a lot of FPS games

Hi, do you know the input latency for PC?
It's still wired, and it's got newer tech than its little brother/sister which was consistently clocked below 4ms. I haven't personally tested but I have seen people say its overclockable. It's so small I personally don't see it as a factor these days, but hopefully that's slightly helps!
@@Sr2Media Hi, thanks for that 😀. Yeah that’s ideal I’m looking for a below 4ms controller, picked up the Tutrle beach react-t which is 3.4ms and got rid of the elite series 2 which is 7.6ms wired and 14ms BT. For cod it matters, the TTK is around 160ms, every ma counts haha. Thanks again 😀

Personal preference for sure. Easy to get used to, unless you've got real small hands! That's my only real advice on them mate!

@@LuisBermudez69 ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, I currently main controller now because of nice it is. I had the thought of the paddles being uncomfortable, There not. Mouse click buttons are very responsive and you can tell a big difference from other controller. I recommend this controller %100.

Someone please tell me if there are heightened analog sticks replacements, this controller can't fit my controller freaks? I can't return the controller? Games tops new policy won't allow me!!! D-pad is king for MK11 and other fighting games. Idk anybody playing MK with sticks.

Then probably keyboard would be even better, tbh most d pads a bit clunky to use but you have like 3 fingers on the directions on a keyboard so its faster.
@@aarepelaa1142 I mean....sure. But who wants to deal with setting a keyboard in your lap? They also make arcade sticks. But go watch a MK11 tournament and count the number of 🔑 boards you see.

This controller did not feel as if I was holding a $150 product in my hands. I guess my fingers are too short cos the back buttons are in a terrible spot. Rubber grips feel like plastic. All in all felt like a very cheap product and returned it the same day. Usually Razer puts quality products out there, can’t say that for this one.
Buttons and assignment is 1 thing, but no macros whatsoever! TERRIBLE!! ie, no auto anything!

Thankfully they added Deadzone options in the software, so now it's a good purchase.
