It is 10:45. We are going from Southern Palms in Eustis to Peace River. Just went past Orlando TT and see a white truck pulling an Airstream. The driver has a camera in the air. We just passed them…..it is you!!!

Wine slushy at the salted fry, oh yah. So many good looking food places. That state park near Dora looks like a great option to stay. We actually prefer state parks
The vendor section connected to the big building by the entrance with the Prevost & Airstreams. Go in the area with all the booths/products. Look above and go to row 200…we will be about in the middle at the RV Life booth from 1-3 pm. Try to swing bu around 1pm if you can. We hope to see you there! 🧡😊🤓

As an Orlando resident, know Lake Louisa and the area well and of the three State Parks (Weikva, Blue Springs) it may be the easiest for reservations, but all are well worth it. That Utility fee is new, instituted July 2021, applies to all State parks and while as a Resident over 65 I qualify for a 50% discount on camping fees in State Parks, the utility fee is not discounted. Good info on Sunpass Pro. Orlando has a competing system called E-Pass (not to be confused with EZ-Pass) that talks to Sunpass and their "Pro" version is called Uni with the same coverage, and it worked well on my trip to CT. I mention this because in my research I believe "Uni" can be purchased in EZ-Pass States for the extended coverage. Also, it is good to have any pass system as the fees using the pass are less than cash pay, and "toll by plate" makes cash pay look inexpensive. Oh, and on wine tasting. Lake Louisa in on US27 with Clermont the closest town. If you had continued on US27 about 5 miles north of Clermont is LakeRidge Winery with free tours and wine tasting of the varieties they produce, and of course the grape fields in the back.
Thank you for the info you shared about the toll pass systems. Ironically, we just went to that winery a couple of weeks ago. It was very nice and we really enjoyed it.
I think I wore my Clarke sandals that day. I also have a pair of Berkenstock. However my tennis shoes are probably the best for me for long days of walking. 🤓🧡

Because we get rental cars we are afraid to get the ezpass and just bring coins. I'm always afraid once we return the rental car it will charge us once the next person has that car or somehow it won't work right.
I've taken my EZ Pass with me any time I've rented a car or even a class C and it's always worked fine, far faster then stopping and paying, and far cheaper then using cash.
That has to do with your internet connection. TH-cam changes the quality based on how fast your speed is. Your internet speed can vary sometimes. When your speed is good or in an area with your phone where you know the speed is fast, watch again and you’ll see what I’m saying. You can adjust the speed yourself in the settings at the bottom right of the screen. Example…480, 720, 1080p etc… If you change it to something higher when your speed is slow, you will experience buffering where the video will stop while it’s trying to catch up downloading the rest of the video. Otherwise the video would be blurry for everyone. Hope this helps.

Wife and I enjoy your videos. When I was researching for a toll pass, I discovered the “E pass”, not the EZ Pass. This is an Orlando based pass that works in ALL Florida toll roads and ALL ez-pass states. Being from Virginia, the only thing the E Pass does not do is have the HOV car pool exemption switch.
I see you caught a clip of it as you transitioned leaving Mt Dora for Lake Louisa. The house with the "Starry Nights" paint job. Interesting story. Originally they painted the fence. The City of Mt Dora objected as there is apparently some code that fences must be painted to compliment the house and threatening them with zoning fines for non-compliance. They resolved it by painting the house to match the fence and the city couldn't say anything.
The TTO is a very nice large park, our only complaint was the laundry. We ended up hunting all over the park for available machines. But other than that it was beautiful with plenty to do.
We were just on Mt Dora today! Kayaking with gators? In December we were camped along the Suwannee River. My friend and I went kayaking several times on the river. Yup, right by the gators. See you soon on Tampa!
Being a member of the 1000 trails is there a additional cost 4 different campgrounds That are 1000 trail Parks. Great video, really enjoy watching. There are different memberships with Thousand Trails. You pay your upfront cost for the membership (which varies), then your yearly dues that are around $600 ish. Then you can stay at the parks for free UNLES you find a park now and then that charges extra for 5-0 amp service or charges you for any mail you have sent there. Most of the parks don’t do this. You can add the Trails Collection for additional Encore parks also, the best resource to give you ALL the details would be to email Kimberly at Campground Membership Outlet and she’ll reply with all the info. There is way too much details about the different memberships that it would take way too long to write and explain and you would naturally have more questions. Kimberly has been doing this for years and knows it better than anyone in our opinion. We have a contact form on our Resources page of our website to find out more info from Kimberly.
We love Mount Dora, it's our favorite small town. There's so much to do and we've become very familiar with local spots like One Flight Up which is great on coffee and food plus the view at night of the activities on the street us very wonderful then you have Serendipity which has a collection of local cold brews and coffee. Stay away from the Mexican place...overall, wonderful town.

Thanks for the tour of lake Louisa state park. It looks nice and there seem to be lots of semi shaded sites, plus I love state parks. We are van campers and live in south Florida, on our next trip north during cool weather, we will keep this park in mind.
I tried last march/April for 3 weeks to find an open Jan., '22 site in a Florida State park. Finally gave up and book commercial sites at 4 different places thru March 8th. Just about did not find places even then. The weather has been great the 2 weeks we have been in Palmetto. We want to go to the RV Show, but not on a weekend. May go Wed or Thur.
The State Parks are hard unless you reserve almost a year in advance. Some you can get into on a Mon, Tue, Wed. People cancel once in a while. Hope we see you at the show on Wed or Thurs! 👍🏻😊🤓
I had the sunpass pro but the truth lost it years ago n never have a problem ...as long as the tag is registered in your acc works...even if.itnis.old they rrplaced it for.free ...but all i doni s add the tags even when rent a car in my cc n good.to.go

I’m contemplating taking my travel trailer but I don’t have any reservations and I’m not sure if there will be space available in the general RV area on site. I’ve never been so it’ll be exciting.

With the work that we both do, we both need Internet. We had a couple places that were pretty bad, one we can remember was in Oregon and we could either get in our vehicle and drive up the road to a spot and work from our vehicle but we mostly worked at a coffee shop that allowed it. Another time we realized once we got there, we just made another reservation and left that place.

LOVE those in Orange County (Trimble Park at Mount Dora, Kelly Park at Apopka, Moss Park at Orlando, Magnolia Park at Apopka, Clarcona Horse Park at Apopka). ALSO, be sure to check out Hillsborough County parks. Absolutely the best! All of these are less than $20 night. We also get a senior discount and an America National Park Senior card discount here. Another tip - Bill Frederick City Park, Orlando is amazing! and cheap!!! There is camping and TONS of attractions there. (Look at a youtube video of all the above places, and be amazed!)

I tried last march/April for 3 weeks to find an open Jan., '22 site in a Florida State park. Finally gave up and book commercial sites at 4 different places thru March 8th. Just about did not find places even then.
The weather has been great the 2 weeks we have been in Palmetto. We want to go to the RV Show, but not on a weekend. May go Wed or Thur.
The State Parks are hard unless you reserve almost a year in advance. Some you can get into on a Mon, Tue, Wed. People cancel once in a while.

I had the sunpass pro but the truth lost it years ago n never have a problem ...as long as the tag is registered in your acc works...even if.itnis.old they rrplaced it for.free ...but all i doni s add the tags even when rent a car in my cc n good.to.go

Hi Dave and Susan from Delaware. We stayed at Lake Louisa in 2019 for 2 weeks. We already have reservations for this Otober for 2 weeks. It Is a grent place to stay. Enjoy watching you guys. We are heading to Tampa RV Super show on Thursday. Would have like to have met you both. We were just in Orlando Sunday for my wifes birthday and to do the resort hopping but to cold and windy. (We are Floridians). Yesterday we went to Winter Garden (nice town) and then over to Mt. Dora. Then headed back to Zephyrhills. Enjoy your video's. Thank you

See you in Tampa!! I’m driving over for the day on Saturday. It’s a four hour drive for me as I’m on the east coast but it’ll be worth it. I’m contemplating taking my travel trailer but I don’t have any reservations and I’m not sure if there will be space available in the general RV area on site. I’ve never been so it’ll be exciting.

Really would like to know how many hours you two spend locking in your day to day RV park situation for overnight and/or beyond.
Usually not long at all. We make reservations in advance and for 2-3 weeks at a time, so not day to day.

That right and still not low enough for us but sure felt so good compared to what it had been in Florida.

With the work that we both do, we both need Internet. We had a couple places that were pretty bad, one we can remember was in Oregon and we could either get in our vehicle and drive up the road to a spot and work from our vehicle but we mostly worked at a coffee shop that allowed it. Another time we realized once we got there, we just made another reservation and left that place.

We did not do a tour there, we just seen that they do them.

I’m pretty sure the answer is yes, because it’s supposed to work in the same States and SunPass Pro BUT…you’re best finding out on their website or calling to make sure.

They haven’t been too bad at all. Much worse back in Iowa during the summer.

We are Canadian and are looking for a cheaper places to stay
State Parks, City Parks or Core of Engineer (COE) campgrounds usually are cheaper.
@@LivinRVision Great news..... COUNTY parks are cheaper than the State Parks! LOVE those in Orange County (Trimble Park at Mount Dora, Kelly Park at Apopka, Moss Park at Orlando, Magnolia Park at Apopka, Clarcona Horse Park at Apopka). ALSO, be sure to check out Hillsborough County parks. Absolutely the best! All of these are less than $20 night. We also get a senior discount and an America National Park Senior card discount here. Another tip - Bill Frederick City Park, Orlando is amazing! and cheap!!! There is camping and TONS of attractions there. (Look at a youtube video of all the above places, and be amazed!)
