Judge Doom is awesome! Seeing new Oogie Boogie Bash characters is always a highlight for my Halloween season. And OMG that Goofy Golfball cosplay is incredible, and only the Disney super nerds are gonna get that one lol.
hot take but Bruno doesn't need his own spot for a meet and greet- give that space up to an actual villain, he's literally the sweetest character in Encanto
I love this year's additions but I feel like Werewolf by Night and Moon Knight would've also been cool to bring back! They're not villains per say but they definitely fit the spooky/night vibe.
For the high evolutionary the really missed the opportunity to have one of the most unhinged villains. Like for older audiences the castmember could be given a remote and while talking nicely with guests, he can click a button that shakes a box (pretend animal in it). He can then scream at the box "Knock it off" before quickly snapping back to a pleasant demeanor.

Things have been perking up in recent years. Doom and the Weasels were in Kingdom Keepers, Roger was in Rescue Rangers, and a lot of merch as of recent. I think Doom was chosen as a similar bit of testing the waters to see if people for sure wanna see more Roger some day.
I was there last night and while most of the lines were long at the beginning of the night. you can basically walk through all of the treat trails in the last few hours. Judge Doom was absolutely phenomenal to see, I walked through his treat trail a couple times to catch the dip scene. I was able to do all the trails (except sid cause the line was too long when i went back there), see the parade twice and leave a bit early. I also wasn’t really rushing so I definitely could’ve met a few characters in that time if I wanted to wait.) I had a really great time and I look forward to going again next year
It feels like a huge missed opportunity to not have treats and toys themed around the villains at the Bash. Like I just came up with this but imagine little shoe cookies that you literally dip like dunkaroos into a green sugary frosting! Or a popcorn bucket that is shaped like the spider baby doll in Sid’s room! And a drink flight where the drinks are held in iconic bottles like Yzmas poison and Hades mortal potion! Someone at Disney please hire me for your marketing team lol

Ugh Yokai didn't TALK in the rfilm. Silent villain. Also not goop, it was mini robots, think legos. They could have easily made his stage lift and fall to simulate him riding the bots.

My family and I went to the 2023 Oogie Boogie Bash dressed up as some of the Toon Patrol weasels (I was Stupid, the dimwitted-looking weasel in the striped shirt and propeller cap), and Judge Doom recognized us immediately! It was fun!

I think next year we need the horned king and maybe some other random Disney villains (ex: add toon patrol with judge doom, the coachman from pinnochio, lock shock and barrel, and maybe even ratigan)
No one would know any of those villains you mentioned, and there was no line to see Yokai, so they’ll stick to the same old stuff. The complainers still buy the tix, and if it gets tired for them, then perhaps newcomers can finally get tix. There will always be a market for this event, even if they recycle the same old characters. The biggest gripes have come from influencers, tbh, due to lack of new stuff. Can you believe there are people who have never been to an Oogie Boogie Bash because scalpers grab tix so that the general public can’t?

They really should have had more Roger Rabbit representation in the parks. The fact that Disney screwed up with Roger Rabbit's rights and their relationship with Stephen Spielberg as bad as they did is baffling to me. Judge Doom should have *been* in the parks in some capacity, being the imposing figure that he was. I'm glad he's here now, though, and I hope Eddie starts making more regular appearances at stateside parks instead of just Disneyland Paris!

It's awesome that they're adding Yokai and Judge Doom to Oogie Boogie Bash, it's just too bad that I can't go. Not just because it's too far away for me, but also because my mom is not into Halloween, so there's no way she will let me go. Also, that's not goo that Yokai is using, it's microbots.
I would love to see someone more interesting for the Pixar Pier treat trail. Like, Syndrome, Darla, heck I even thing Ego would be more interesting than Cid, imagine a food critic judging everyone in the crowd for taking the candy

Okay hear me out for next Halloween this are my suggestion for villains that would be cool to see join Oogie Boogie Bash: Syndrome, The Horned King, Ratigan, the High Evolutionary and maybe the most controversial but eh it's Halloween, the Xenomorph!!
It's awesome that they're adding Yokai and Judge Doom to Oogie Boogie Bash, it's just too bad that I can't go. Not just because it's too far away for me, but also because my mom is not into Halloween, so there's no way she will let me go.
Also, that's not goo that Yokai is using, it's microbots.
I would love to see someone more interesting for the Pixar Pier treat trail. Like, Syndrome, Darla, heck I even thing Ego would be more interesting than Cid, imagine a food critic judging everyone in the crowd for taking the candy
