It seems good to me that a carnotaur assumes one of the most epic and emblematic roles in cinema, that's why the carnotaur is my favorite dinosaur in any of its forms
According to Disney themselves, this Carnotaurus was a separate species. If you were to visit the Ride "Dinosaur" you would find a skeleton of the animal with a new scientific name. Carnotaurus robustus floridaensis
@@trilobytestudios I actually went onto that ride at animal kingdom when I was a kid. I saw the skeleton too. Also, regarding the size of the Disney Carnotaurus, it probably not only compares to Tyrannosaurs but also fills the same niche: Apex Predator.
It may not be accurate to our real life carnotaurus but it is visually distinct and very terrifying to see. What I love most is that they didn't just upscale a carno and then call it a day, they actually gave it a thicker body and legs, squared up the head, and most likely have it be much slower than a real life carnotaurus.
Disney's Carnotaurus were bigger and scarier than Jurassic park T-Rex. Disney's Carnos was bigger than your estimation. According to the film fact, the smaller Carnotaur weighs 15 tons and larger one weighs 20 tons. And if you notice carefully the smaller one survives the cave battle but unfortunately the larger one dies due to huge boulders.
I honestly thought the bigger one survived but oh yeah I notice a bit now when they face off in broad daylight Aladar was almost as big as it and we know the biggest one was like at least three times taller than Aladar
Actually it was the larger one that survived. The smaller one had a broken horn while the big one didn’t and when you look at the Carnotaurus at the climax, both it’s horns are intact.
Another note regarding the arms: the forearms are much longer than on the real animal. The ulna and radius were so shortened in advanced abelisaurids, they were essentially part of the wrist.
Heck yeah Disney has the best Carnotaurus ive ever seen. Way better than that little sick & malnourished skeleton paleontologists dug up awhile ago. People gonna freak-out should they ever dig up a fully grown, healthy specimen. #kaintwait
Well originally it was supposed to look like Tyrannosaurus rex but then they saw that screw it let’s make it look albertosaurus but then scored again this looks very similar to tea Rex so they did it a third time and Carnotaurus came
as much that carnataurus wasnt as accurate to its world counterpart id like to theorize on the size of the disney's carnataurus in that movie was through gigantism
Honestly, In a sense. it is technically possible. To have them be two extremely uniquely born Carnatorus is something I like. We have that kind of variety among humans. whats there to say dinos werent similar.

Cause we gotta mention that the tail of carnotaurus is function for it go faster and usually larger dinos like trex and Giganotosaurus don't go as fast cause of they're large size

Actually, it seems more like it was caused by niche partitioning; Disney’s Carnotaurs fill the same ecological role as T-Rex: an Apex Predator capable of taking on prey items inaccessible to the other carnivores in the same environment.
Fun fact: the dinosaur sounds are based off of real animals. Yar, zenny and plio are based on ring tailes lemurs. The carnotaurus sounds are mixed in with apex predators like the tiger, lion, cheetah and leopard and i believe leopard. The herbivores hmm 🤔 kinda hard to pin down what sounds the producers used for them.

It was larger it was 56 to 59 feet long and a height of around of around 15 feet but in the full pustare it was 23 feet in height
