Recently more and more people complained about having too many ads on this video. This masterpiece reminds me of my soul mate, Anthony. He absolutely loved Pink Floyd and used to listen to this piece in the dawn when he was on duty. He flew away so suddenly taking a piece of my soul with him. Though I love this piece, I can't help but filling with sadness every time I listen to it. I miss him more than words can express... Today, January 14th, would be his birthday... You may left my beloved, but love always stays. Love never dies. See you in the next life my angel... 🌹

There is no one who can capture this better than Gilmour ... his guitar soul is timeless 💜
I'd even argue that, at least for me, this acts exactly as a drug. Not just as in it being addictive but actually exaggerating feelings for instance when I'm away in my bubble and listening to this it accompanies me on magnificent trips around my own imagination and when I'm feeling down or depressed it has a whole different vibe, it feels more like powerlessness and crushing despair. Its pure magic, simple as.

Wow, I only saw them once, and sadly all i really remember was the bed whizzing from (out of nowhere) to crash into the stage. I stopped smoking pot after that. What's the point of living an experience if you can't remember it?

This song is credited to Gilmour and Wright. For me me, it is among some of the greatest pieces Pink Floyd has ever done and I am a fan of every single period.
The guitar track is great, but the keyboard composition is so beautiful too. The ability of these guys to make it work, to make us cry, dream, love and wonder is almost supernatural. It comes from talent, chemistry and vision. With loads of hardwork over many years. Truly an awesome set of musicians. The drumming is exactly as you would hope too, the heartbeat to all of PF music. Thanks for uploading this.
Wright was still alive back then. Wright is probably the most underrated PF member.
@@RiccardoConturbia I saw a documentary about Endless River. Gilmour said that it was looking back at and listening to all of the material for ER that made him realise what an integral part of PF he was and how much his playing shaped the sound of the band. I think that they all made such a massive contribution that none of them should be underestimated. The drumming on and percussion on Time helps the first part of the track really drive on. Gilmour surfed on the water provided by the other members.

I come on to TH-cam to listen to many different types of music=auto playlist. But, then this track turns up. And no matter what version it is, that is the end of the playlist. I just repeat after repeat, after repeat. One of the most fantastic pieces of music i shall ever hear.
The ending always brings a tear to my eye, so emotional.

Marooned it's the reason why i love Pink Floyd, just discovered it and i started this regret-less journey. Before marooned i just knew Another Brick in The Wall and a little bit about money, so happy i'm not in that case anymore.
Marooned is an amazing song, it leaves me in awe every time i hear (which is a lot xD) but i have to say high hopes is my fav song on the album, the ending solo just leaves me breathless

Recently in one of the UK's daily newspaper's they printed all of the classic singer/songwriter's and musicians from the 1960s who are still gracing our beloved planet earth with their presence,now I'm not going to name these music god's but you get the drift!!!!,and sadly it's heartbreaking to know when they depart into a higher state of consciousness ....no musicians alive can simply take over where these disciples of music have vacated because today's musicians are not at all in the the same league and able to keep the spirit of avantgarde alive,so please think carefully and I mean very carefully when they leave us they will do for infinity.....now that's a sobering and overwhelming thought to take onboard, please keep music live and full of PASSION....WE OWE IT TO SO MANY GENERATIONS TO COME,ONE DAY SOMEHOW THEY WILL THANK US.

It's amazing how this video can explain my feelings and my mood of today. The earth from the space can seem the same every day, quite and beautiful like ever. Nothing can stop the peace up there. But below the stars, there are marooned cities like Pripyat or Milan, my city, where silence is pain, is suffering. Different causes, same fate. Same pictures of what was, what is and what should have been. Desert roads, silenced parks, empty spaces. In the meanwhile people are looking for an explanation in the fugitive old man, I feel like the little girl on the balcony, in a long waiting for resume my suspended life.
