A busy summer Friday at Corfu Kerkyra airport. One of the busiest airports on any of the Greek islands, certainly lived up to this title today. An almost continuous stream of arrivals and departures nearly all day! A great airport for photography lots of great locations to get different perspective shots from. Quite strange runway operations, with some departures taking off from RWY17 and all arrivals and other departures from RWY35. At times there was only a few minutes between a departure from RWY17 and an arrival in the opposite direction on RWY35! Quite interesting, something you don't get at UK airports or busy international airports.
I was there just one day and managed to rack up 1 hour and 15mins worth of footage! Which is why I'm uploading them in 2 parts.
PART 1 INCLUDES: Thomson 737's & 757's, Thomas Cook A321's, EasyJet A320's, Jetairfly 737, JetTime 737, Europe Airpost 737, Mistral Air 737, Sunwing 737 (operating for Thomson), Ryanair 737 and a few private jets!

Some great shots from the different vantage points, and nice to see the planes using both runway directions instead of just one allowing for some variation in the shots I got!

I stayed on Paxos and flew into Corfu on a BA A320 (sharklets). It was operating a charter rotation for Simpson Travel as BA9126C :)

I've been there 7-8 years ago with Malév Hungarian Airlines.

That elevator flutter worries me I only see it on older aircraft like 757s 767s and older 737s

* Note for Thomas Cooke and Thomson maintenance: G-OOBF and G-TCDW both had only one nosegear light on.
