there will be times when camping, that no matter how you plan, it may change - particularly the weather. it may be summer, but it might rain or vice versa. aside from what i mentioned of having at least two 10x10 tarps ( smaller that 10 feet or 3 meters in length is inadequate ang get the ones made of polyester - lightweight), that applies also to your attire. attire for cold, rainy and hot weather. so whatever the weather, you guys will be ready. i find it refreshing to see mrs. tan has an “emergency plan”. that’s smart thinking. safety is always first. having a first aid kit and knowing how to use it while camping is an essential. when car camping often, (believe me it is addicting), you will start looking for more places until such time those places become “off grid”. those off grid places has better scenery and less crowded. there will be such a time you will look for a 3 days, 2 nights camp instead of an overnighter and those places have no electricity. your primary “work” light is a headlamp. then 2 tent lamps, 1 for the dining table/general use (cooking, washing) and 1 for the tent (there is a provision in your tent usually a hook to hang your tent lamp), all battery powered. i got a camping lamp pole, it is clamped to the table so i could hang the tent lamp in the dining table instead of hanging the lamp in a cord. i experienced getting water from the locals for washing and bath (deep well), so having your own collapsible pail and dipper helps a lot. i have experienced beach camping and mountain/water falls camping with no shower areas, so having your own collapsible shower tent helps. the items i have mentioned aren’t expensive. the nice thing about car camping is you could bring a lot of camping stuff in your car. in mountaineering, you can only bring what you can carry in your backpack. i started as a mountaineer then went into car camping recently. so my outdoor gear is all small and lightweight as opposed to big, heavy camping gear used in car camping. i also recently went into scuba diving haha. by the way, i often beach camp and do snorkeling. so i usually bring camping and snorkeling gear. “kill nothing but time, take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints” the mountaineer’s motto. Meron pong inflatable na matress na di na need ng kuryente galing sa kotse. Kaya pwede pa din mag camp kahit walang kotse. Meron mga group nagka camp sa mas magagandang places na di kayang puntahan ng kotse.
Yes meron din kami pang inflate na usb type. Connect lang namin sa powerbank. Pero mas mabagal parang 10mins bago mapuno ng hangin yung matress. Yung sa kotse kasi 2mins lang full na. Pero pwede na din hehe 😬

It’s worth it for the price. You have the best view plus the weather. With clean toilet and bath and restaurant around you. Some campsites is cheaper or maybe same price pero they dont have that same experience. Madumi cr or worse walang cr, Walang food na mabilhan na malapit and mainit ang weather and not comfy. Just our opinion based on our camping experiences 😁
Dyan din talaga ako galit sa mga nagkakalat at walang pakialam kay mother earth, sana wag na lang sila mag nature trip kung ganyang basura ang mga ugali nila.
