The plastic sleeve idea is genius! Thanks! I've been homeschooling for 12 years and I love seeing how other mom's homeschool. It's a great way to get new ideas and 'spice up' our homeschooling routine. :)
I love the pocket for field trip pamphlets! The field trip page is also a great idea, an awesome way to include all of the awesome on the go learning. The table of contents are also genius! I remember you mentioning previously keeping the printouts from the library of what you have checked out and I plan on implementing that tip when we get back to school. I love the bibliographies showing what everyone has learned. I was previously overwhelmed by creating a portfolio (not required but I think it's a good idea) and this video has alleviated that anxiety, thank you!
Jamie, thank you! This was so helpful to me! We just competed our first year of homeschool and I was looking at doing something like this! We are not required in the state of GA to keep a homeschool portfolio, but I think it will be a fantastic keepsake! I have already made a picture album of our year, I know we will enjoy looking at it for years to come!
I love portfolio ideas. I've been purging and decided to toss a lot from the past 8 years , but notebooking the real "keepers" is a good way to only hold on to what's needed.
Wonderful, thank you! I am new to homeschooling--just ordered my curriculum and will start on Monday--and I am totally inspired by your portfolio. Love it!
Wow. Just wow. Thank you for posting this!!! It has inspired me 😊 My first year of official homeschooling and my first eval coming up for my oldest. ONE BINDER!!! Definitely using one binder for all of my kids in the future. Again thank you so much
This was very helpful! We are about to begin our first year (K5) and we will need to keep a portfolio. Thank you so much for sharing! I will certainly be using some of your ideas! :)
Thank you for the video, this ideas are amazing. We live in Chile and although we don't need to make a portfolio I think it would be very helpful to have one. Amazing!!! Thank you. Hugs from Chile 🇨🇱♥️
Hello! Jamie I know this video is old, but I seen your instragram couple days ago that you were working in your portfolio for this year, have you share with us the final hard work you done lol jet? I really would like to see it i need some extra ideas for my.;-)
+Mimi Parker I do not have to have a certified teacher do my review in my state. But, if you contact your state homeschool association, they will probably have a list of certified teacher's that you could contact.

How do you choose a certified teacher who does your review?
