Hi everyone! I hope you have enjoyed this video. Leave a comment with your opinion about it. If you have any ideas of what would you like to see next time - write as well. I'd love to hear from you about your interests in crocheting.
I made a large dreamcatcher wall hanger using chunky yarn and size J hook with your pattern, thank you for sharing, this will be a lovely gift for my niece. I followed your instructions and didn’t find any mistakes, avoid the negative comments under your video, perhaps they need a bit more practice 😉
@@WizardofLoopsdo you just keep repeating row 16 until big enough, I figured out how to make it smaller, now have to figure out how to make bigger. I'll put it on The Holmes hideaway .
Yikes.... I got lost on row 8. You also don't demonstrate in the tutorial step 4 for round 8, so I couldn't figure it out. Same issue with round 9. Please help, as I would like to complete this project.
Hi Melody. Step 4 is the same as beginning, you just do not need to do Ch1. Continue with SC in Ch2 SP, Ch5 for 38 times and then step 5. Beginning of Round 9 is the same as R8. You will do the same arches but now you will Ch5. Hope this will help!
You start R8 with Ch1+SC in the same stitch +Ch5. Then you need to make SC in next Ch2 + Ch5 and repeat this for 38 times. Last Ch5 you will replace with 1 SC in Ch2 Sp + Ch2 and a DC into the 1st SC in the beginning of R8.
R9 is the same. You just need to chain 5 this time between SC. In the end replace last Ch5 with 1 SC in Ch2 Sp + Ch2 and a DC into the 1st SC in the beginning of R9. Hope this helps.
Can I use a 20.23 cm hoop ? I don’t do cm we do inches but I changed it for u to know ? What size yarn are u use we go by weight .. weight 1 , weight 3 ,weight 4 Weight 1 is fingering weight yarn and weight 2 is like a sport yarn
You can use the hoop of any size that will fit good. We are usually forwarding the info from the yarn label. Unfortunately this one has only cm on it. But I can tell you that 4ply from Crochet UK is a Sock/Superfine/1.
This cake is much bigger than you will need and yarn is softer than the one I use. You can give it a try and then you will decide if you like it or not. Just start with something small.
Pattern is beautiful but first few rows are going too fast. If you could explain how many DC or... are there in all in that row, it would help. I almost did row 10 to realize that there should be 38 CHAIN 5 SOACES N MINE WAS 40. Had to redo. But didn't realize where I did wrong.
Thank you Deepa! Yes you can, but keep in mind that this type of yarn is more elastic + you will need a bigger hoop, hook and in the end you will get a different size than with cotton yarn.
Beautiful project and I like how you include the written instructions but your transitions at the beginning and the end of each round are too fast to see what you are doing or too far from the camera or just not at a good angle.
Thank you so much, Katie! But this was one of our first videos with lots of learning process for us. I hope you will find our latest videos more helpful.
Hi. Is it OK for you to try to follow the written pattern? If not, I can make a short video of this row and place it on my Instagram page so you can see how it must be done. Please let me know if you'll need one.
This usually happens when you crochet a little bit loose. Try to make it more tight in the beginning. Also please check that you have the right number of stitches. You can post your picture on my FB post and I will be able to help you more.
I’m surprised how far I got trying to follow these steps. You’re going too fast without a good view of which stitches your going into. The use of your words are all over the place, round 5 was so fckn confusing the way you said it. Then theres some clips missing?? Like what is this?
Your pattern is good but you are not explaining it properly and its so confusing. Going too fast and saying something and doing something else. Very confusing.

Thanks! For me, this is one of the BEST mandala dreamcatcher pattern on YT!
Thank you! That is lovely to hear!

❤ what you have crochet. I have to fit one inside a hulahupe, can't wait to finish mine.
Thank you! I hope you enjoyed creating it!

AMAZING pattern, Thank you for sharing!! I just finished making mine and it turned out great!! Stay Blessed ❤️
Thank you for your kind words, Cheyanne! I am testing a new pattern at the moment, so stay tuned for new tutorials!
How long it taken for one crochet making

So, do you go around the 38 times and then go around again the 38 times for round 8?
I guess I'm confused about step 5 as well.

What size hoop are you using? Beautiful work!
Good morning Paula. Thank you!
I was using hoop diameter 25 centimeters.
Hope this will help.
It would be better if you can mention the same in your video itself in things needed. Helpful

Google yarnart flower yarn it’s usually a cake yarn and see if that could work ? If that’s ik

Beautiful! Can I crochet the dream catcher with acrylic yarn?
Thank you Deepa! Yes you can, but keep in mind that this type of yarn is more elastic + you will need a bigger hoop, hook and in the end you will get a different size than with cotton yarn.
Can I continue the pattern to put it on a 14 inch hoop? The hoop you're using is a little smaller than that.
Hi! Yes, I think you can continue repeating the last round adding into the chains. Try and you will see!
@@WizardofLoops Awesome I am definitely going to try it and I will let you know how it comes out!
So? Did you finish it? =)
@@WizardofLoops Yes I did! I gave it to my mom as a gift 😁
Which yarn should one use?
Hi Nimi. The mandala diameter is 25 centimeters.
Yarn: Cotton Kings Twirls, 100% cotton, Color 47
Hook: 1.75mm
What size hook do you use?
1.75mm
Ooh love it😍
Thank you , Pat! Did you try to make one?
@@WizardofLoops I am hopeful that I can get started soon, almost finished unpacking boxes and finding my crochet materials.
That is nice to know! Keep going and you will make it!

I'm using a 2.0 is that okay?
It is OK, just be ready that you might need a bigger hoop to place her in.
You don't show how to do Row 4. I'm completely confused

Another beautiful patterntysm😍
At the moment all written pattern is on the screen only. Sorry.
Its all getting curved at the centre like a cap.
