Nung nakita ko mga plates mo, sobra akong naamaze lalo na nung sinabi mo kung ilang oras mo lang nagawa ung iba, ang galing mo. Sana ganyan din ako kung arki ung kukunin ko. Hi, architecture is quite tough especially in online class set up even if you are good at drawing or not. The tip that I want to leave with you is to research what architecture is really about and check mo if you're skills and passion ay nasa architecture. Kung willing ka naman matuto at gusto mo talaga ang arki, go for it.
Besides that, I just want to let you know that your comment makes me smile, thank you kasi you appreciate my work. Tho, yung sinabi mong ilang oras ko lang ginawa yung iba, there are times na ganon mabilis lang but may times din na inabot ako ng 1 week dahil nagbreakdown ako hahaha. It has ups and downs. I also realized that after 1 year of arki, my time duration for every plates ay umiksi kasi nagamay na. Trust me it is really hard on the first time, but with dedication it will work❤

Namomroblema kasi naman HAHAHAHA dinaman ako magaling sa arts mag draw or paint tapos balak ko mag archi
Jusko na haggard ako bigla habang pinapanood 😵 I mean nakaka mesmerize ka po ate sobrang nakaka wow yung mga plates mo ang galing mo po, kaso nilalagay ko yung position ko diyan hindi ako kagalingan mag drawing, ta's sobrang time consuming pala huhu sobrang nabibilisan pa naman ako sa oras, pero gusto ko mag archi kasi gusto ko matutunan yung designs, portraits as well as yung pag de design ng buildings since ayun talaga hilig ko sadyang natigil ako sa pag da drawing way back grade 6 hahaha ta's ngayon ko nlg tinutuloy, TVL pa strand ko parang sobrang complicated but I still believe in myself I think need ng perseverance, dedication and diligence kasi if nahihirapan ka sa isang bagay as long as na eenjoy mo naman or di kaya nag mo motivate naman sa'yo yun then there'll be a time na mag s strive and look forward talaga, kasi afterall malalampasan din lahat ng ito.

Incoming archi student nako next s.y. and I'm very nervous and kind of overthinking already😂 enrolled na pero wala pang klase nagdadoubt na ako to myself if I can really take it and if it's really worth it though it's what I want naman... really really nervous and anxious with a little excitement like very mixed feeling😂... WE CAN DO THIS!🙏 hopefully

Not all who become architects are so proficient in drawing. I'm not giving false hope to those who want to take up architecture. I am stating right now that DRAWING IS THE EASIEST PART OF THE JOB. But drawing is not what an architect really does. It is planning and creating. If you find those among your possessions, then drawing will become a skill you will surely learn if you study it well. Drawing is a skill, not a talent.
Pwede ba architecture bobo sa math pero keribels naman mga konting basic tas medyo marunong lang mag draw huhu tulong😭
Iast math na tinake ko is calculus so if you take STEM, madali na lang sya.

Yes you can, on the 1st to 2 years puro manual drawing but overtime naman magiimprove ka, kasi every week may plate na gagawin. Basta importante sa pagiging archi is critical thinking when it comes to space and designing. I hope I answer your question😊

Hello I’m a first year student and feel ko di ko kaya, idk deadline ko maya 11 and 8 na tapos wala pa akong nagagawa, I’m currently crying and gusto ko sana may makaka understand pero wala pa akng friends sa new school ko and puro sila mga artists!! Hahahah ayoko na gusto ko nalang… charot bye earth
There were times na dadaan ka sa stage na yan, just remember next time pag binigay na agad ang plates try to do it right after they gave it to you so the workload will be lessen.
I know it is hard, dumaan din ako dyan mga 1 week ako nastress sa plates kahit di naman ako nagawa kasi natatakot ako sa kakalabasan kaya nagbreakdown lang ako but alam mo yung natutunan ko, yung pagsisimula talaga yung pinakamahirap but once you try to do it, the momentum goes on. I don't care if panget kakalabasan basta alam ko ginawa ko at with that experience may matutunan ako at maapply ko next time.Progress is important kaya tuloy lang sa paggawa.
Nung 1st sem ko din nung 1st year ako, hirap din makahanap ng friends but trust me you will find one, just be friendly sa chat always say thank you when you asked something😉

May binibigay yung prof namin na reference but we are free to look other reference online which sometimes I do👌

Yes may times, pero madalas yung prof yung nagbibigay, kadalasang mixed medium

Hello po ate need po ba ng self portrait sa isang plate po kasi nakikita ko rin po sa mga ibang channels na meron silang ganon required po ba iyon? o base lang po sa prof niyo?
usually nasa visual techniques subject yun, yes base sa prof namin. Kaya ganun is to practice your manual rendering gamit ng pencils or colored pencil, to know the shadows of a certain subject, and right proportion.

Sa 1st sem magaadjust ka, sa 2nd sem mahihirapan ka, sa 3rd sem medyo gamay mo na. Sa school ko kasi trisem so yun
Tsaka wala naman madali na course, time management lang para mapadali buhay

can you like choose archi even though you're not good at drawing and math? even though my neighbors said that ituturo rin naman nila yung dapat mong gawin i still feel nervous because in 6 months im gonna go take the exam for the course. I appreciate if someone gives me tips before that ty! 😭❤️
yes you can, mostly naman ng design projects don't need math its mostly planning, critical thinking. for drawing is important on the first and second year, kasi puro manual but later on puro digital na din, so if you enjoy doing autocad, 3d modeling and you are good or you enjoy space planning, arki is for you. drawing can be improved but mostly making the space functional is the most important.

hello, I will make a video for that maybe I will upload it this week so stay tune hehhe, but I"m using rog strix now. basically for first year puro manual pa naman, on the second year last sem usually may autocad na and for sure sa third year more on digital. but better to practice and buy a decent laptop beforehand.

Grade 9 palang ako gusto ko nang mag-archi pero feelings d ko sure sa gagawin ko. gusto ko talaga ang archi lano ng yung design at perspective :) sorry d ko pa kasi kabisado sa lahat-lahat hehehe Confused lang po ako paano po kayo mag-plan sa ground plan or floor plan? I guess yung nagawa ng ganyan pero d mo makamit ang design na gusto sa bahay o restaurant or hotel po yung sa 3d style? Sorry d ako marunong mag-explain😬😅

Being good at drawing is not a necessity but its an advantage so if you want to step forward, practice a lot☺ overtime your skills will improve.
Architecture is not all about drawing, may space planning dyan, madami kang icoconsider like users, the weather and such. Madami, di lang naikot sa pagdrdrawing heheh I hope I answer your question

I don’t know about com eng but in arki, of course you will do drafting/drawing, manual and computer rendering, designing, &!planning. So sa first 2 years puro manual lang pero depende sa school. and then from 3rd to 5th year puro autocad na & thesis. arki also has math.
some of people think arki is puro drawing but it is not. pagaaralan mo yung placement ng isang structure depende sa sikat ng araw, kung paano mo gagawin yung space na comfortable sa mga gagamit like pagaaralan mo yung mga sukat, kasi sa arki intentional lahat. yun lng hope this help
nga pala kung magastos ang arki? yes magastos but if you really want to save money you can search on fb baka mga nagbebenta ng used materials. basically you will need paper, pencil, tech pen, tsquare, triangles, scale, alcohol markers.
Gusto ko mag arki, kaso potek hindi ako pinagpala sa MATH!

I think dito sa bansa naten, medyo hindi indemand talaga ang arki. Kapag wala kang connection mababa talaga ang starting, pero siguro sa papasukan mo talagang firm. To be honest, i am really not sure kapag oppurtunitues dito sa bansa naten.

For materials, I spend atleast 6k on my first year and then on the following year I think maybe 2k,buong year na yun for mga papers na lang and pens.
For tuition, usually 30k sa school ko,trisem kami but sometimes I got academic scholarship for 100% depends on my performance.

Advice po, I really like making houses like noon po I don't know ang architecture kasi
Kasi iba pa yung career na giusto ko not knowing na mababago yung dream job ko pagtungtong sa high school na unti unting nagpachange ng mind ko kasi narealize ko yung mga bagay, realidad ika nga nila na hindi basta basta like considerations or praktikal, pero nung grade 11 na ako tinapon ko na yung childhood job ko and dahil doon napili tan ako na mag isip ng Ibang career which is pulis pero I'm not really into military job nung grade 10 nga ako lagi akong kinakabahan kapag time na ng Cat subject like hindi bagay sa akin, since maliit ako, matinis or mahinhin.
And sa drawing or art skill ko medyo nangangapa pa kasi I'm lazy hindi ako nagdrawing ng Ilang months or 1 taon tapos ng bumalik ako at na miss na nagdrawing eh I felt really frustrated dahil bumalik ako sa simula, parang Nakalimutan ko nang nagdrawing, Ilang beses po iyong na ulit, kaya sobrang a dami ko pong iniisip like kukuha nalang ba ako ng career na hindi ako familiar or pero nung grade 11 ako ayun medyo na sipag akong mag drawing at masasabi ko namnag nagimprove yung noon na hindi kayang gumawa ng portrait na dati lang ay pangarap ngayon medyo na a achieve na.
And since grade 11 po I have this app like gagawa ka nang sariling bahay like layout, floor plan, and nagaya ko pa yung bahay namin and nagimprove naman mahilig po ako sa designs ng mga houses like favourite kong manhood ng the sims, no cc, stop motion. And dahil sa tiktok na puro nasa fyp ko ang architecture ay minsan napaginipan at pati doon sa panaginip ngayon sobrang undecided like pipirmahan ko na yung form pero sobrang doubt ko pa and hindi sugurado kasi isa sa dahilan ay hindi ako magaling sa math, and I'm not food at creating some arts on my own like laging may reference like hindi kayang makagawa ng sariling design ng bahay and hate doing art like for hours I'm not patient lalo na sa process gusto ko agad agad kaya siguro laging fail or hindi na a achieve yung drawing na gusto

Its an advantage if you know how to do perspective before taking the course, it will save you time and less cramming coz ako kasi I struggle before sa perspective kaya minsan nagcracram ako.

So far, drafting muna since madaming ganon sa 1st year. Like dun tayo sa basics sa architectural lettering, perspectives, and isometric drawing☺

Hello, I'm just wondering if I can take an architecture course in college despite the fact that I didn't study stem strand in senior high school and instead took arts and design. Will they allow it without bridging program??
