Okay. This is why I love your channel, and it just hit me while watching this video: You have the soul of a teacher. You make big topics, like writing a novel, seem manageable by giving practical advice that makes sense and is actually doable. And you give that practical advice in an approachable, encouraging way. For example, you just helped me get through a big writing hurdle I sometimes experience in longer works: feeling stuck due to lack of inspiration. Your solution? Write a kissing scene. What?!? That's brilliant. Seriously. And I never would have thought of it myself. That's going to be my new go-to to get out of the jam in my head. It's perfect-- it gets emotions on the page, allows you to think about who these characters are, and what their dynamics are together. Wow. Thank you. P.S.- I would also totally buy the book you're thinking of writing for NANOWRIMO this year. It sounds sooo good.
I’d love to see writing vlogs! I’m planning to do nanowrimo for the first time this year, after having so many ideas but never giving myself the chance to put them down and turn it into something
