I agree, there weren't much misplay there
he could have played a recruit and be done. yes he would take some extra damage but thats worth it. next turn the mini bot would be dead to recruit + weapon. yes kripp would have a way to deal with it using his bluegill, but thats a risk you take versus waisting a equality.
Tad Vanoostrum What about if kripp had a taunt and the opponent lacked consecration? Or a kings to follow the taunt? Don't ignore those circumstances.
Kripp explained it: he could have played a recruit and hit with the weapon... The chance that it could get out of control is pretty unlikely, therefore it was a bad play. As Kripp is playing a paladin, he doesn't have a hero power to remove easily the recruit to go face again with the bot.
Tad Vanoostrum Exactly, + Kripp was playing a Paladin and the next turn he would have 3 mana so the only way he could deal with it was a charge minion or muster for battle which is really unlikelly

Today I sacrificed my entire board to enemy Kel'Thuzad and then I tried to faceless him. I threw the game away.

Too true, brother, in early Closed Beta days golden Gelbin was very common.
I also put Gelbin in all my decks, at least until I started wanting to win games.

Missplays himself on the very first clip.
The right play would have been: Unstable portal. Pass. Let him play another minion. Kill sheep for extra value next turn.
This is not necessarily better unless you get a "1-drop" from unstable portal. If you ping the sheep in turn 3, your opponent get to play a 3-drop on his turn, but you get nothing on the board. On the other hand you can always play a 3/2 plus portal on turn 3, and the 3/2 can deal with a whole lot of 3-drops that the opponent may play. Not to mention the opponent won't be dumb enough to play a 3/2 on his turn 2. Probably he will play a 2/3 or summon a guy. So basically you don't get extra value compared to pinging on turn 2.

What was the missplay at 3:00? Kripp had lethal.
The fail was on Krip. He was taking his time contemplating his next move while the whole time he had lethal and didn't notice.

The priest had 12 damage on the board but didn't realise he could kill Kripp (he had 8 health)

kripp was going to miss lethal, that's why he kept joking about it afterwards. if the priest hadn't surrendered kripp probably would've traded minions rather than win.

The first one prevents you from playing a two drops.
Mario Pham that would only make sense if he had a great 2 drop follow up, which he did not have, judging by the way he played a dude.
uh. but then the mage chooses to not play the two drop. and the dumbass trades a coin AND a card for the opponent hero powering once. lol. the value is real.

yes, it allows you both to skip a turn while not getting any value out of it and following up with heropower while kripp gets ahead in draws. AND wastes the freaking coin. Awesome! Honestly, I can't even think of any worse turn 1 play

6:03 wasn't a fail. He healed it to draw a card from the cleric
quick scoper It was. The enemy priest should've assumed that Kripp had a pyroblast. Healing him self would still draw a card, and get him out of pyroblast range.
Clement Chou healing himself wouldnt draw a card buddy only minions
+Quick Scoper againts a mage and at 10 hp you would obviusly heal yourself insted of healling a minion, you don't need cards you need health mages have allot of ways of dealing more than 10 damage in one turn

+Illidan Stormrage The difference is that it is arena. At the time kripp only had 1 card. Assuming your enemy has a pyroblast is stupid because
1) this is arena, the chances of you getting an epic pick, having pyroblast as one of those and actually picking the pyroblast is not very high
2)Mages don't have a lot of ways to deal more than 10 dmg in one turn with only spells in this case because kripp only had one card and if it was a fireball (much more likely to be found in mage arena decks than pyroblast) kripp would have needed to topdeck a frostbolt, fireball or something similar.
It is not the priest's fault for not assuming kripp had a pyroblast.
You don't expect a mage to have a pyroblast every time you play against one in arena.

Why was the concede at 2:55 a misplay? Kripp had 23 damage, which was lethal.

Fireblasting explosive sheep with unstable portal in hand was arguably even worse play than what the opponent did. He could still ping it next turn also killing whatever else was on the board
he could fall behind when the enemy plays a 3health minion on turn 3. nothing wrong with heroepower on turn 2
Turn 2 Unstable portal turn 3 wiping board by killing sheep + playing 1-4 drop from portal clearly better play

if the enemy hero is damaged, the healing well has a chance to heal it, so it's not a guaranteed minion kill
