This is one of those tools that people laugh at, like a festool “tool” people just assume it’s expensive and you don’t need it. I have one (different colour) and I use it for stair treads as it spreads the glue heaps quicker , I use it for matrix cladding boards because it requires a lot of glue, now I use it for all caulking because I got pretty good with it and u learn to control the bead .... so yea this is a tool that once you use one, you will wonder why you never got one earlier hahah
It's nice to finally see someone demonstrate the tool's usage vis-à-vis materials of differing viscosity, as well as more than one "flow-rate" &/or particular volumetric application per material. Very much appreciated.
This looks very similar to the DeWalt 18V version that I have. My only complaint is that the slowest speed isn't slow enough. Sometimes, slow and steady is what's needed, and it sucks to have to be on and off the trigger. Also: Caution to all using these: They can build up enough pressure to pop a caulk/adhesive tube, which makes a horrible mess. Otherwise, they are damn fine tools to have on-hand.
This is definitely good for Liquid Nails putting in transitions for wood floors by the time I get to the fifth door my hands cramped up this would totally eliminate that
I definitely appreciate seeing the unboxing and it being used, but I would have really liked your opinion on it like a review suggests. I was especially looking for info on the anti-drip feature because so many reviews online say its garbage and it's keeping me from pulling the trigger on it.
I have the ryobi version and I can caulk crown molding with it. It all matters what size hole is cut in the tube and the speed the gun is set and travel speed.
For liquid nail type application it's fine, but for detailed silicon application these cordless guns are to powerful a manual gun is better for bathroom silicon finish joins.
Where do I get the dual attachment for epoxy grout fillers? I am going crazy, I have a 6,000 sf box store where I need to fill hundreds of feet of concrete grout lines.
Another awesome review. I ended up buying the Dewalt DCS369B mini reciprocating saw. So far it's been used for a plumbing job and electrical job. I'm still undecided on this one.

I build houses and when we trim them out, we go through boxes of caulk, this would speed things dramatically

I agree with being off and on the trigger, that takes time to learn.
Wow, reminds me of when I was 18. I could hit the ceiling.......
😂😂😂😂
I was gonna paint a target on the ceiling.

is it brushless motor?
I can see this for Putting down Adhesive for subfloors that’s about it But if you do a lot of that I could see how it might would be worth it
It's very popular with Wedi shower kits/systems
What’s the name for the level next to you??? I want to see what it does and if I should get one !
Stabila brand should be able to find it on their site
Thanks Master ☺️ I see all the videos literally. So my next step is my t-shirt.
Good video brother! I think the biggest thing is to get used to it, but once you do, it will speed up the work a lot. God bless!
Very true!

Noted!
Man oh man that is a loud gun. Not to be too repetitive but the ryobi is so quiet
This is best for automotive windshield adhesive application
Didn't even have to talk the opening 15secs sold me on the product lol
How much po
do you actually use this?
This isnt for caulking. The tool clearly says its for adhesives. Laying down adhesives with a manual caulking gun is a lot of work.
Caulking, Sealants, Adhesives and Silicones. Maybe Dewalt should add all of these to their listing title amzn.to/2PJN6GL

GO Berg!
So nice,
Had to watch it Twice!
GO Berg!
Thanks Redd! Happy weekend brother 👊

Good video like always
Yeah my corded caulk gun is a pain. The cord always gets in the way and gets caulk all over the cord. 😂
I'd use it if it fit the bigger tube for subfloor and backer board on studs.
You can simply remove the 10 ounce canister and install the 29 ounce canister using the same gun. I show this in the video 👊
@@LandbergTileTV i see, you have to buy the conversion kit, or the gun that comes with it already.
Definitely looks like it'd take some time getting use to it.
Puts my corded 12 amp caulking gun to shame!

we love it!
Thank you.
Lines aren’t thin enough for finish work.
I bought one of these tried two different tubes of cock and it's blown out the sides of the cartridge I don't know what to do
nice caulk!
Nice tool but not for me brother. Nice video.
Get neater with a manual one
Lol, see you in the trade. On site!!!
?
Nicee
He`s ready to shoot caulk I do believe.
$187 seems high
It's way to noisy too
Excessive unless its a tax write off
Unless yur gonna build a snow men
349€ in Finland 😂 Ryobi 69€
You get what you pay for
The tool is upside down the whole vid bud
It's the camera angle...can be confusing. 👊
O"dear ...fail.. it always was going to 🙄
I should call her....
Such a waste of money, I don't see the point in a electric caulking gun
We use is on every Laticrete shower with their sealant for all seams, screw holes etc. Speeds up the time and time is money.
U move too fast with that, same with girls 😂😂😂
noisy
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Pap
You have a weakness for dewalt for sure
lol love me black and yellow! Would go Milwaukee if they had a power station and tile saw! 👊👊👊
@@LandbergTileTV I love the packout system.. But tools are all DeWALT 😤
Lol that’s so stupid do not use it’s a very bad tool
