The internal measure of how far a nut/bolt head can sit in the deeper sockets is called broach depth (usually shallow or deep). Each has its advantages depending on the situation.
Lol man I just got the 3/8 blow molded set for Christmas from my kids now I have to order just the meds they always find a way to hook ya... oh well just money I can make more
This is a nice set, I wish it came in a molded case in case you have to go to the parking lot to mess with some suspension work or take to the junkyard. I mean you could carry the set like this to your designation but I prefer a case. Hopefully that can be an option in the future however awesome set 👍
I've used their chrome set, yet to buy impacts and I love them for the price. They've yet to strip anything on me even on the impact, and under scrutinizing amounts of impacting their chrome has yet to flake.
Are the impact sockets thin enough to be used as chrome also? So many times the impact sockets are so thick that it is prohibitive to use as a multi purpose socket.
Mechanic wise, the shallow would be the most used, then deep. The Semi-Deep you can get by without, then over time, if you run into situations where the deep is too long and the shallow is too short, then the semi deep would be a good consideration
Weeeeew i love capris stuff. Making me re think my 44 piece gearwrench impact set. Msybe ill keep the gearwrench set for mobile stuff since it comes in a nice case and get a set of these for the home base tool box

Got the mids Metrics n SAE couple weeks ago. Been happy with all my Capri purchases..

Yeah, we’ll see if they make a master set! I’ll give them a heads up!
That interior machining is called “broaching”.
Mind was blank 😂
These will be perfect when I get to changing the exhaust manifold gaskets on my 5vz

I have and recommend the 3/8" mid depths.
Are the markings all laser etched or do these have both laser and roll stamped markings?
i got this set and its the best out there for the money... that westlng organizer is a sweet ass touch too.
My most used set is the mid lengths 😂😂 can't go without them.
i know they make separate rails for swivels, but does the 3/8 swivel socket fit in the middle row?
I don’t have the 3/8 swivel, so I can’t say 100% that they fit.. I would say no because the swivels look a little fatter..
Tell Capri to send me a set to try out😂
i so wish these were around when i became a tech back in 95
Great sets. The price isn’t all that bad. Those trays are great. Can you get the trays by themselves?
Yeah! Kinda hard to find, just enter “aluminum rail” in the search bar and they should all show up!👍👍
@@AutobahnDan Thanks Dan.
Westling machine for the socket trays

Yes, these run on the thinner side. They just released stubby sockets this month as well.
Nice set, might have to try some myself!
Short, long and half.. nice complete length sockets.
I didn't no Pauly shore used sockets lmao
I don’t remember doing a Pauly shore impression🤷♂️😂 so random!
The weasel checkn out some sockets buuudddy! He sounds like Pauly for sure
I wonder if they make bigger sockets like up 36mm in a set
Not in a set to my knowledge, but they do sell onsie sockets up to 36mm
If you can only afford one, you would go with the deep well impact socket right? Which would be used the most or second most? Thanks

I find that 99.9 percent of the time I use only semi deeps. It’s rare that it’s not deep enough or there isn’t enough room for it.
Nice one. I just noticed that there's 3/8 and 1/4 drive impact sockets too. Let me visit your website
Nice set!
Need that bottle opener 🤘
How are these holding up a couple of years later? Do you really beat on em?
Yep! They’ve been great! Still in my top drawer at work! Nothing bad I could say about them!
@@AutobahnDanthanks for the response!!
Bro. Are semi deep sockets necesarry or just nice to have?
I wouldn’t recommend them if you have to ask that. You should be fine without them👍👍
There's time when have and want the semi. I think it's very much worth to get it
Hey Male I bought you something how do I get to you
KONAMAN!!!🍻🍻🍻 email me! 🍻 I think I saw you in my Discord as well!
MY NEXT SOCKET SET WILL BE CAPRI
