As Fenix is great brand, but this model is new, the PD series is good, not sure about this one? And is it aluminum alloy, is the material used good feels premium? I'm considering LENLENSER P4R Core which is available for 2400, is it worth spending 4k for this Fenix C6 V3, of course extra lumens and battery backup is good, but is it worth 4k?
Hi vic, it's holding up good. You will feel the heating only when you use 1500Lumes for a long period. Rest all lumens the heat, nothing much of a concern. Build quality is really good. Yes, I feel the life of the torch is more than 5 years, but time will tell about the battery performance if it degrades with time, but of course, you can always replace the battery. No scratching as I am using it in a case by ULTRAFIRE, so it is being protected by it. Overall, yes , Version 3 is good of the C series. I had checked out the E series V3 as well, but my work was done with the C series. Yes, it looks very premium; you get what you pay for. Many people ask me about the torch when they see it, so yes, quality is not an issue; it's an overall a great build and looks premium. Yes, it is worth the price. Just go for it without second thoughts.
