My only issue with pure inside centers is when they force bad layups or dunks. Yea we’ll feed you but if you keep forcing shots you ain’t gonna get the ball then they get all booty hurt and be selling. But the smart ones will start to kick it out once they get doubled after killing it in the paint. But I prefer centers who can shoot the ball because they can space the floor and once I blow by my man and if they man help I’ll simply kick it to them and easy three. A plus is if the big has good pass accuracy, dimer, break starter, touch passer, replay pass etc all helps
Exactly, that’s just part of them clogging the paint. Forcing shots and throwing off the offense is an every game thing for them I swear. My center build has a 90 pass accuracy so I tend to get 8 or more assists if I use that build. But a lot centers aren’t smart. They want to play like Shaq but really should be playing like a Karl Anthony Towns or Sabonis.
Trust me bro I understand. I don’t mind an inside center either it’s just when they play as if they deserve the ball every possession that’s my problem. Even if I’m the point guard I don’t keep the ball every possession I actually like to pass and get the offense in motion. The dribble gods annoy me the most right next to the ball hogs. Like why are you doing all the excessive dribbling for no And the two way 3 level threat is a beast all around build so keep using that. That should be considered a comp build in my opinion. I feel you on this video too. I don’t mind playing with inside centers if they know how to be productive on offense besides clogging the lanes. I don’t understand why they just block up the paint, making it hard for others to score other than 3s or pull up shots. I also can’t stand when they only screen for the ball handler, practically chasing the ball handler the entire game, when they could set off ball screens and be just as effective on the floor. The dribble gods ruin the game because they think because they have high ball handle, gold/hof unpluckable, that they’re the only people allowed to have the ball in their hands. I have a 2 way 3 level threat, silver unpluckable so I’m not fantastic with the ball but I’m good enough to get my shot off or get to the basket. However I have so many games where I have to wait 2-3 qtrs to touch the ball, and majority of the time it’s a bail out at the last 2 seconds of the shot clock bc they don’t want to take a bad shot. 2k is really just kinda messy nowadays, I still enjoy it for the most part but a lot of times I’m pissed off playing this
Proble with the inside center is people dont have a right stick🤦. They cannot create for themselves. I got a inside with no middy or 3 ball, but I got post control and a right stick. I literally combo out of the post. I hook from the middy, shimmy shake, throw alley hoops, and dot the corner. I dont force it and I don't clog the paint either 🤷. 1st priority is to defend the paint and grab boards, unless I got a team of non shooters. Honestly, I have the most fun on my inside.
All I play is inside big and a ton of people don't do it right, you need break starter and you need decent handle, I am defense first and I'm there to hunt mismatches and clean up on offense they hog and completely destroys the flow. I'm of the mentality especially as the big man you can't give a damn about your stats you need to make the right decision regardless of if you get an assist a point or a hockey assist you've also got to be patient on the break. Go set off balls for cutters drag your man to the middy be able to hit a floater it's all about keeping everyone in rhythm while being a presence on both ends of the floor. Also don't make a center with silver chaser go 93 o board 80-85 d board and 90 strength also learn how to use standing meter dunks
That's the issue with 90% of rando inside bigs. They just in it for their easy statline at the cost of team production. And, I really just don't get why people are so married to the inside big unless you just scared to shoot? Just learn to shoot and space the floor. Legit easiest way to help your team of randos as a big man.

Inside bigs the most boring and least skillful build in the game. Thats why all the noobs gravitate to inside bigs. Dudes who be married to inside bigs just lack the skill to shoot consistently and hide behind their inside centers and "bad internet" rather than learn that portion of the game.
