I remember when I was living in Phoenix over 20 years ago they had a radio station dedicated to this type of music. Went over to Europe and Asia for 4 years and when I got back in 2010 it was gone. I guess the music was dying by then over in the United States. I have a hard drive of music songs (trance) or Eurodance songs from back then.

I was 38 in 2004 so I have experienced the 80s and 90s as a dancing adult customer. 2002 which was an extremely good year for club music.. If you ask me as a Swede, 1999 - 2006 are the best years even though the 1990s were owned by Swedish, Polish and German musicians.
