engage trails mode : 1) unplug the power cable to unit while on 2) hold down the tone knob & reinsert power 3) LED's will light GREEN (true bypass mode) 4) release knob & press once LED's light RED 5) Engage pedal to initiate TRAILS MODE ;)
they don't seem that impractical really. I love the expression function being able to traverse through two distinctly different sounds and everything in between
I have this pedal and I kinda want to try some of the advanced features, but I also see what a hassle it is , so I kinda want to just get rid of it and get something else .lol
Can I use it with a Mission Engineering expression pedal or can it only be used with the DVP4 or DVP3? I ask the question because my M300 Reverb is not operating with the Aero EP-25-PRO expression pedal.
That’s what the expression pedal is for, which is actually more versatile since you can get back to a mixed level without messing with the reverb pedal itself
It sounds superb, well done review as always, but; Let's say my delay boxes end up outputting 2 spigots? A mini mixer to combine into a single stereo cable > MXRVerb?
When you turn the switch from mono to stereo inside the pedal, it automatically "change" its input and output to stereo? or just the output? (hope you understand...I'm not english speaker)
I beleive mix 100% on this pedal means dry = wet in terms of volume. It should be viewed as Fx level i think, but i don't own the pedal so yeah, my guess.
100% wet removes the dry analog signal from the output of the M300. Setting the mix knob to the extreme right still keep the dry analog signal in the mix.
The one thing still missing: how does a split signal from a single guitar go IN the pedal... the concept don't even make sense and no one says anything about it????
'For a stereo setup, run a TRS splitter cable to the M300’s INPUT jack and another from the M300’s OUTPUT jack to your amplifier. Next, set internal STEREO/MONO switch to its LEFT position' M300 Manual
Hey, I’m a noobie in the matters of recording. Could you tell me how you‘ve recorded the guitar part in stereo? When I turn on the stereo mod on my mxr, one Signal includes the guitar sound and reverb, and the other includes only reverb. But when I watch your video I hear the guitar sound and reverb from both speakers. How did you make this happen?
Francisco Alemañy True Bypass kills the reverb effect immediately when you click the pedal off, Trails Bypass will let the reverb effect fade when you do
I have exactly same guitar color, including that pickguard ! Please suggest best strap color, thanks! Great effect pedal, that expression feature is awesome 😎
This is really, really impressive. Great features for a seemingly simple pedal.
I'm a reverb junkie and just ditched my H9 (x2) for this. Love it.
That good huh? Still loving the MXR Reverb? Thanks.
Glistening Kabana you're welcome
Great demo! Lovely pedal! I have one. Love it.

That’s literally what the first minute of this video tells us
@@SpaceJockey805 Exactly. Now I don't have to re-watch it.
Why isn’t this info in the manual? I’m looking at the pdf from the Jim Dunlop Website and it doesn’t mention these things.
Thanks paul, im sold!
Holy crap, thank you! I’ve owned this pedal for three years and never bothered to read the manual I guess.
Great demo & explanation of a very clever & amazing little pedal.
Instead of the 1/4 breakout cable, could one use an ABY, in Y mode to achieve the same stereo effect?
Great video lesson. Mxr should do their own video lessons. Thanks!
Great video. Well explained, Paul.
Why did they make it so impractical to use these features?
Well, I guess more practical features would make this pedal more costly.
Or Bigger.....

How much for the shoes?
Nice details!

If you want your expression pedal to work with the mxr m300, listen to me right now... Dial back the knob on the side of your expression pedal
Thanks for making this video, very useful information.
With the expression pedal, can you use two different reverb types for heel and toe or does It have to be the same? Say plate on heel and PAD on toe
nope
I'm in love with this thing.
Must say a mini switch for 100% wet would be nice. Or just have that be all the way up on blend

A mini mixer to combine into a single stereo cable > MXRVerb?
I ordered an Immerse from Neunaber but I love this too.
It’s a great pedal but I tried that 100% wet mode and everytime I hit the switch I’d get a slight popping sound where as in the default mode it don’t
Is trails mode (buffer) turned on?
great video quality !
I use this with a load of synths and a drum machines - it sounds great
When you turn the switch from mono to stereo inside the pedal, it automatically "change" its input and output to stereo? or just the output? (hope you understand...I'm not english speaker)
Does it have pre dalay?
what is the name of that trs cable you use for stereo?
what's the difference between 100% wet and having the mix knob all the way to the right?
I beleive mix 100% on this pedal means dry = wet in terms of volume. It should be viewed as Fx level i think, but i don't own the pedal so yeah, my guess.
100% wet removes the dry analog signal from the output of the M300. Setting the mix knob to the extreme right still keep the dry analog signal in the mix.
Could the Expression (volume) pedal be used as an on/off switch ?
Tony Temple I assume so, you would just set your heel down setting to mix knob at 0% which I assume is 100% dry signal
Very *IMMERSIVE*

Артем Полозов Your "problem" might be related to the internal switch position. I'll check that when at home.
Embarrassed to admit I’ve had this reverb for about 3 years and I didn’t know about some of these 😬
I’m looking into buying this reverb pedal. Is it a good choice?
No lo dudes, es un pedal sencillo pero con sonidos muy buenos!
what is the name of amp with bird logo?
It's a Carr Sportsman. He's saying that in the video as well...
Gracias.
The best damn reverb ever !! I have one if these.. and I freakin love it,. Fuck the haters
if u have an expression u want more than on or off, why is so hard to stop in the middle for a second ow jeez
Very nice amp
Whats the diference between the two bypass modes?
Francisco Alemañy True Bypass kills the reverb effect immediately when you click the pedal off, Trails Bypass will let the reverb effect fade when you do
I have exactly same guitar color, including that pickguard ! Please suggest best strap color, thanks! Great effect pedal, that expression feature is awesome 😎
that guitar looks like the IBANEZ TAM -10 but 6 string.
Huh? It's a STRAT!
Yes
The color scheme
mackie172
Ahh i c...
Ugggh. The damn mix knob should just go full-wet…! And it should just have two freakin stereo outs..!
He looks like Declan Donnelly
This guy is a meme at this point
Way too complicated, absolutely no way would I personally consider buying this.
Too much work for a god damn reverb pedal
