SPES JOURNEYS 2024: CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S OFFICE - SPORTS DIVISION
The City Government of Baguio through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) have concluded the 2024 Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES) recently.

The SPES Program, as provided for by R.A. 7323, and as amended by R.A.9547 and further amended by R.A. 10917, aims to help poor but deserving students finish their studies by giving them employment opportunities during their school breaks.
SPES grantees are employed as workers of the city government for 20 days with a salary of P591 per day. The city government provides 60 percent of the budget while 40 percent is shelled out by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
