Just the intro alone is such a work of art. What an insane song.

Definitely up there as one of my favourite Cynic tracks. Just beautifully constructed/written track.

Does anybody know what the lyrics are about..."holy fallout???"

      Let's take a look:
The lyrics start with, "A star at dawn, a bubble in a stream," and goes on with lightning in a summer cloud, flickering lamp and a phantom of a dream.
Other than the "phantom of a dream" bit, these are all descriptions of natural phenomenon.
My initial thinking is that this is something about the greatness of nature. There's a counter-position as well, which arrives soon in the next stanza:
"Aspirations/Chained to grindstones at your feet."
To me, it's obvious that the eliciting of "grindstones at your feet" refers to you being held back, whether by something that prevents you from reaching your aspirations or, more likely, by the aspirations themselves.
A few lines later, it says, "I can't offer an explanation/There's no one here but love."
This SEEMS to be suggesting again that nature and life as itself is a wonderful thing, but humans screw it all up, presumably with our aspirations.
Now, what ARE those aspirations? The next line gives us a clue:
"No conflict/No mind tricks/Mother Earth guide my ship/Comfort me/Despite me/Oh, mercy, radiate your grace on me."
This sounds like he's saying that he wants to be led not by man, not by his leaders and not by his own ambitions (not the line "despite me," meaning "even though I don't deserve it or I fight against you due to my humanly drives) but by the natural order of life before man's social constructs.
It doesn't seem to be specifically anti-war, although it clearly _is_ against war, but rather against man's civilization, civilizing everything until it's so civilized that it's a place where no civilized person would go.
      Hope that helps!

    Lyrics:
    A summer cloud
    A flickering lamp
    A phantom and a dream
    Aspirations
Chained to grindstones at your feet
    Contradictions
Behold what you're afraid to see
    Dear world
    I can't offer an explanation
There's no one here but love
    No conflict
    No mind tricks
    Mother Earth guide my ship
    Comfort me
    Despite me
Oh mercy, radiate your grace on me
    Out of the ground
Where I hide my tangled head
    To the North Star
    And the alchemy is met
    Dear world
    I can't offer a reservation
There's no one here but love
    No conflict
    No mind tricks
    Mother Earth guide my ship
    Comfort me
    Despite me
Oh mercy, radiate your grace on me
    Laugh and spit
    Into the air
    Laugh and spit
    There could be holy fallout
    There should be holy fallout
    There will be holy fallout
    Dear world
    I can't offer a reservation
There's no one here but love
    A star at dawn
    A bubble in a stream
    A flash of lightning in
    A summer cloud
    A flickering lamp
    A phantom and a dream
    No conflicts
    No mind tricks
    Comfort me
    Remind me
