To see subtitles in other languages: Click on the gear symbol under the video, then click on "subtitles." Then select the language (You may need to scroll up and down to see all the languages available).
--To change subtitle appearance: Scroll to the top of the language selection window and click "options." In the options window you can, for example, choose a different font color and background color, and set the "background opacity" to 100% to help make the subtitles more readable.
--To turn the subtitles "on" or "off" altogether: Click the "CC" button under the video.
--If you believe that the translation in the subtitles can be improved, please send me an email.

Oleg, TH-cam has unfortunately disabled the ability of people to submit subtitles directly through TH-cam.
From now on, people have to send me an email with the subtitles, and then I have to upload the subtitles to TH-cam myself. If you still have the subtitles, please send me an email. My email address can be found on my TH-cam home page in the "about" tab . Thanks.

This is the first-source I bring up, when others in my life ask me to clarify mathematics, portrayed in a lucid flowing stream of consciousness better than I could have ever imagined on my own, prior to finding it. Although perhaps this comprehensive algebra lesson could better be conveyed if its content was segmented into several focused topics with their own youtube entry key, also. The benefit of building from one concept to the next in discrete, complete steps of knowledge is shadowed by its daunting length. The natural breaks already included the video indicate that at some point segmenting the lessons was considered. I would suggest the following titles that serve as placeholders for what challenges specifically a learner should expect to be confident in their capacity to perform correctly, in response to:
      00:00: Systems of Equations
      14:58: Isolating the Variable
      25:00: Solving with Balanced Equalities
      Links, listed sequentially:
      th-cam.com/video/MJYsXGbxueY/w-d-xo.html
      th-cam.com/video/MJYsXGbxueY/w-d-xo.html&t=14m58s
      th-cam.com/video/MJYsXGbxueY/w-d-xo.html&t=25m00s
Regardless, it's perfectly fine as is. It's just that in my experience tutoring mathematics, I've frequently found it's just too much to take in all at once, despite the way each process transforms fluidly into the next.

That´s what all brats say. But what about if you try to learn only from the video, without previous exposure in class, without homework, without class presentations?? Would you be ready for the exam? If you immediately be examined, you would be whinnying, and bitching against the video author, and asking for color crayons to draw color balls and arrows.

Fantastic overview of the subject! Teachers should view and review this video regularly, perhaps in short segments, as they work their way through the developmental stages of teaching Algebra to their students. The 3-D animations clearly demonstrate what Algebra can do. Beginning learners would be more likely to stick with the logic involved if they had a better sense of where it can take us and what uses it can be put to. A journey is much more likely to be completed if one knows more clearly the destination from the outset. I urge Eugene to continue producing similar videos. Bravo.

I find it 100x better than having them watching weird cartoons which convey weird subliminal messages. If you create a website exclusively for this I'll pay a subscription. i had no idea algebra could account for this much . Once you can describe the shape, form, location, and volume, you pretty much can describe maybe anything. To think some person in the middle east wrote this in the sand playing around with it. I can't imagine the genius. You know, they use to tell us it's just substitution for numbers and values in class. I was robbed.

Oh my God how beautiful, elegant, eloquent and majestic your courses are in 3d animation.
I dreamed of carrying out such courses in mathematics since I bought a PC in 2006.
But alas, my knowledge in 3d animation is strictly nil.
Excuse me for making a very small remark whose reasons are very big, very important and very deep concerning the way the brain learns.
For the learning of the brain to be easy, clear, without ambiguity and without confusion, the information must reach it in order, point by point, step by step, in space and in time. That's to say:
    - from the past to the future.
    - from top to bottom.
    - from right to left.
    - from the simplest concept to the most complex.
    - in as many steps as possible.
    - without erasing, without replacing, and without inserting a step into another.
    - without going back to the top to view information.
    - etc ...
The informations in the video entitled "L'algèbre et les mathématiques avec des animations 3D faciles à comprendre" are too difficult to follow, too difficult for a beginner in mathematics to understand. See above to understand why.
I hope that your next videos will be made in the way I described.
    THANKS.

the music in this video when the sphere concept is introduced makes me feel like "God I'm sorry that I did not pay attention in school. Now I will watch Eugene videos and study as hard as I never tried before to compensate for the loss👼"

excellent video. as a high school math teacher I'm always looking for new ways, myself, to view these topics to help find new ways of conveying them to my students. I find these videos very useful and extremely well crafted.

Hi Eugene, These videos are an enormous help to me. You have made difficult ideas accessible to me. I am using your videos in conjunction with MIT Opencourseware in physics and Jim Pytel's BigBadTech channel for maintenance technicians on TH-cam. With your help I am becoming better electrician. BTW, I like the music you have selected and the pretty girls in many of your videos help to keep my attention when it might otherwise drift away. Will you please tell me what software you used to create this video?
Thank you for your amazing contributions toward the spread of understanding.

Thanks for the compliment and I am glad to hear that my videos are useful. In reply to your question, I use the software "Poser" to create my 3D animations. Thanks.

Thanks, What are you using to model the circuits when demonstrating the electrical concepts. Is that Poser too or do you use something else? I think I would like to try making my own simulations so as to solidify my understanding.
Thanks again for creating this wonderful library.

Algebra word itself is a translation of Brahma. Brahmagupta had written his famous astronomy book Brahma-sphuta-siddhanta in 622 AD which contained mathematical methods like algbra, trigonometry also. This was translated in 632 AD
under orders of Khalifa Mansur in Arabic. The name Brahma
was translated as Al-Zabar (the Great or the Powerful) which is meaning of Brahma in sanskrit based on verb Brahma=to grow. Siddhanta (sphuta) was translated as muqabala (contest or comparison-because correctness is decided by
Shastraratha =contest). The complete book on mathematics was called Al-zabar-ul-muqabala. When it was translated into Latin later on, only the first part was retained-Al-zabar which has become algebra.
