I only got version A, but i had him customize mine so i could swap out the normal horn for the battle damaged horn ( for an extra charge). That way i can have either Han or Luke riding the Taun Taun. My face plate and feet seat into their slots without problems. But like you my saddle doesn't magnetize very strongly to the body, but i think i will just add some thin velcro to anchor it bit better. Oh and the green dot indicates where the screw goes through the top of the foot down into the base. There's a small flap of fur that covers the screw hole. I was considering get the Sideshow Taun taun 1/6 staue until i saw this offered. I'm so very glad i went with this custom with faux fur and soft goods instead.
Very cool addition to the collection, great price too. Love how the bases line up, gives you a nice diorama feel and lots of options for display with Han & Luke. I do love my Sideshow ones, they will never leave the collection.
Their is a video promo done by inbox on their Facebook page showing lifting the fur on one of the paws to screw in to the base .... awesome review jeda
Awesome! I passed on the Sideshow version and then regretted it. Also passed on Hoth Luke and Han, regretted that too. I don’t think Hot Toys will do them because they should’ve came out during the Empire Anniversary and they didn’t! But who knows the could do it, depending on how the Dewback and Trooper sell. Then you might see a Luke and Han with Tautaun
Those are great, never heard of 'em before. Weird about the peg holes but lack of peg especially with the foot prints not lining up which is even more strange? Maybe either they put screws in instead of pegs or forgot to drill the hole for the screw? Could you just make one yourself? But for me what puts it over the top is the fur or flocking or whatever it is. Looks better than sculpted fur every time.
Love my two Tauntauns. Got mines in January and it was number 1. Packaging caused breakage on one but replacement was fine (and how it was packaged was different - lessons learned I suppose).. Agree on the moulding but once the screw is in it’s fine.
Can't wait to get mine they also released a wampa which is great, my taun tauns are #11 so should be shipping next month. I'll see how they co parents to the sideshow one

I’m only 6 mins in but this pretty friggin cool. Kudos and congrats on adding these to your collection!
Just a thought. You could get the hasbro versions cheaply. They wouldn't do the statues justice, but would be adequate placeholders.
