GSF Hollywood Adventure - October 2017

Watch this video of our multi-day #HollywoodAdventure where we proudly honored 24 spouses of fallen military heroes. These Gold Star widows were treated to three days of fun and surprises including a tour of Walt Disney Studios, visiting the set of Scandal, attending the The Late Late Show with James Corden, lunch with Gary Sinise at our office as well as a surprise visit from Gary Sinise Foundation Ambassador Joe Mantegna, hair makeovers by Canyon Salon and much more!
Thank you to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Miceli's Italian Restaurant and Wood Ranch for providing dinners. And a special thank you to Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and our official airline partner, American Airlines, for helping us make this a wonderful trip.

Thank you for taking care of these women! No one gets married thinking they would be widowed early in their marriage, but being married to a service member they too are making the sacrifices as well. They have the burden of moving on without their spouses. As a service member myself, I know a couple of Gold Star wives, and I feel l don’t know what else to do for this special group of people who have sacrificed so much for the rest of us. Again, thank you for taking care of them!
