if I'm on a macbook pro what is my button when trying to fill in the lasso space we've selected? delete and return don't do anything for me when you say hit backspace
when i am trying to align the edges of the shape to the phone, it's trying to force me to certain areas instead of letting me put it where i want... how do i solve this?
I'm really new to PS, so I'm clicking without really knowing what I'm doing. I've followed the tutorial, but im trying to do a thumbnail where I hold up 2 phones, each with a different image. I get one to work, but not the other (once I create the second one, it doesn't show the first one, likely because the first attempt is a layer under the second attempt. Tips?
make sure when connecting the shape a small bubble appears near the lasso tool icon, it show that you have completed the sape and you can proceed. If not it will tell you that there are no pixels selected.
Do you know if this is possible on Procreate? I haven’t found a way to replace a skewed shape with a photo that maintains the skewed perspective. Although I’m new to Procreate, so I’m not sure if it’s because I just haven’t figured it out or because the feature is missing.
Nice but if you have to put something more meaningful than just a photo (like a real iPhone screen) you have a hard time until you get that all in place.
Yea I was just following this through and noticed that this does indeed happen as I was trying to place an actual iPad Mockup screen into an image. The issue seems to be that the image you put in is placed on top of the rectangle and also fitting it. So by following this tutorial here the red rectangle will be below the "margins" on the sides and therefore the screen will also crop at those sides since the "red" part is below those margins.
don't get the mask bit you're clicking buttons off the bottom of the screen that no one can see and you don't explain what you do with the mask, is it flatten or merged afterwards, really bad tutorial
This is the most concise and straight forward tutorial. Great work man

Do you happen to know screen dimension if we are doing this for a laptop screen instead of iPhone screen
Yes, you should able to just google your laptop screen dimensions. Like my laptop is 2880x1800.

I'm not actually familiar with Procreate, I'll definitely have to look into it!
