Craft Beverage Training

Thanks to a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency, TURI is leading a Green Cleaning initiative that partners with five state Pollution Prevention Programs (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI) to assists New England craft beverage facilities implement safer cleaning and sanitization practices. State P2 Providers will work directly with breweries to review facility operations and recommend safer cleaning and disinfecting products and methods.
TURI will provide the technical research and testing services that ensure recommendations meet stringent performance standards, minimize health and safety risks, improve environmental performance, and reduce operational costs. To start the initiative, TURI organized a pair of comprehensive training sessions for P2 Providers. The training reviewed technical protocols, explained sampling techniques, and provided hands-on practice for sample taking.
