Srinagar Garhwal is very old Gurughar and Sangat stay there on way to Hemkund Sahib. I went there first time in 1977. Then no University and it was small town. Public very friendly and in the morning easy walk to Ganga river for wash. But now city grown too much and Paharis create troubles as in 1984. You have to deal carefully. I been there 17/18 times but never heard of second gurughar which you say washed away in floods. This one is near Pb Sind bank. Am I right? Not gone after 1992 as migrated to USA.
